Springs Gymnastics
Overview
Expert Summary
Detailed Insights
Springs Gymnastics stands out for its deeply positive, family-oriented, and safe environment, particularly praised by long-term team parents and families switching from other gyms due to negative experiences. It offers highly engaged and qualified coaching for all levels, from active 3-year-olds learning basics to competitive team gymnasts thriving and pushing their comfort zones. While the coaching and atmosphere are exceptional, parents must be aware of a strict, in-person withdrawal policy to avoid unexpected charges.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →**Crucial:** Understand and meticulously follow the 30-day notice and required in-person form submission for withdrawing from classes to avoid being charged for unattended sessions.
- →Be prepared for a gym that emphasizes consistent engagement and skill development, pushing children to grow.
- →Consider Springs if your child needs a more supportive, anti-bullying environment, especially if they've had negative experiences at other gyms.
- →Utilize the staff's availability for feedback to communicate both positive and constructive comments.
Things to Consider
- ⚠Strict and difficult withdrawal policy: requires a 30-day notice and an in-person form submission (cannot withdraw by phone).
- ⚠Parents risk being charged for up to two months of unattended classes if the withdrawal policy is not followed precisely.
Price & Value
Tuition and fees are described as 'very comparable' to other gyms in Tucson, suggesting fair market value. However, a significant hidden cost risk exists if the strict 30-day notice and in-person withdrawal policy is not followed, potentially leading to charges for up to two months of unattended classes.

7 months agoThe classes were pretty decent and the instructors were great. Make sure you predict when you want to leave by 30 days and fill out their withdrawal form. Even though they have long waiting lists to join classes, they are difficult to quit. We tried to call and withdrawal over the phone since we couldn’t make it to classes with a busy schedule change. They require a form be turned in, in-person. We owe them two months (which we couldn’t attend) but they finally dropped us. Again enjoyed when we could attend, but they make it too hard to leave for no real reason.

7 months agoI have been a Springs Gymnastics parent for over 13 years and a team parent for majority of this time. Springs to this day has continued to work hard to create a family oriented, positive and safe environment for all levels of athletes. The coaching and front desk staff make themselves available for feedback, both positive and constructive. Being a team parent for years, I have friends and colleagues and at other gyms around Tucson. Springs Gymnastics' tuition and fees are very comparable. There has also been many efforts over the years to upgrade the floor, gymnastics equipment and air conditioning unit for the main lobby. We live in Tucson, so of course it will get hot and muggy in the summer! Springs has been part of my family for many years. I appreciate all of the efforts made by the current gym manager and staff to continue to make this gym a great place to thrive and foster a love for gymnastics and parkour. Thank you Springs!

3 years agoSprings Gymnastics keeps my 3 year old active. The instructors are very patient and I can see her slowly building the basics. The staff is always kind. We are happy to have found a gym that works for our rambunctious little one!

10 months agoMy daughter has absolutely thrived here since we started. She has come so far, and the coaches are always pushing her to go out of her comfort zone. It'll take a lot for us to leave Springs!!

11 months agoI have 2 team gymnasts and we switched to Springs after some pretty bad bullying at another gym. We just finished a full competition season and my girls could not be more happy and are really thriving. Coaches Elianna, Makayla, and head coach Katherine have been phenomenal for both of my girls. The girls have a lot of fun but are not allowed to goof off or be a disruption. The coaches are never on their phones and are engaged all of practice. Katherine is even a USAG judge which has helped the girls so much. My only gripe is we wish we had found such a positive environment sooner.
