a week agoIt's really a beautiful big place with lots to see, especially with little ones. We went around lunchtime and there were a lot of people, which means a lot of waiting in lines. The view of Las Vegas from the cafe was amazing although we waited a while for our food and it was cold. The museum, toddler time, rose garden, and butterflies were also very cool. I know there's more that we haven't seen yet, will definitely go back.

a week agoWe love going to the spring preserve with our family all year round. We have a membership which is very affordable for our family. There are lots of walking trails and playgrounds for children. We enjoy the butterfly pavilion and splash pad . We also like the versatility of the museums throughout the year. We really enjoy the train ride and the toddler story time. This is definitely a las vegas treasure.

3 weeks agoI ended up visiting twice during my 5 day trip to Vegas because there was just so much to see! The botanical garden was coming to life (end of March) and the weather was perfect! I'm only sad I missed the butterfly exibit. I was also able to get a motorized scooter for $25 which was super helpful as there is a lot to see. You can leave it at the train station (take the key) and head to Boomtown on the train. Boomtown is small & flat, so I was OK without it there. The cafe has some seriously good food and half the menu is vegan!!! I could've spent another full day there, honestly! Great for kids, families, everyone!

2 weeks agohighly recommend a visit to this garden park. We enjoyed the cactus garden, vegetable teaching garden and the butterfly conservatory. We did a lot of walking and sitting on benches and we didn’t even get to the natural history museum, the cafe or animal area. Would recommend at least 3 hours to see it all. Note this is a family oriented place with tons of children. The butterfly conservatory has a line up and then you walk through it following the people in front of you. It was a bit restrictive about what speed you could go through and it got hot (early afternoon in April) The butterflies were gorgeous, there were tons of them and they come right up to you - you have to be checked as you leave so they don’t get outside. The cactus garden was such a treat to see the plants up close and learn about them (we live in Canada and don’t know much about the desert). I learned a lot about water usage and conservation. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a super visit.

a month agoWe visited on a Friday in March, coming with our almost 2-year-old and our 4-year-old. Highly recommend this for anyone with kids who are looking for something family friendly to do in the Vegas area! A ton of cool interactive things in the museums and also plenty to do exploring the outdoor exhibits. Definitely ride the train and explore boom town. We came later in the afternoon knowing the park was closing soon and wish we would have came earlier. Could have easily spent 3-4 hours here.
