4 months agoNice little playground with several swings and huge slideset. There's thick padding to cushion falls. Conveniently close to the parking lot.

9 months agoThe Stanley Ray Playground is located between Popp Bandstand and the Peristyle. The playground was built with a grant from the Stanley Ray Philanthropic and Civic Trust, named for a local businessman who left money to help area children. The thick padding on the ground is very comfortable and dozens of children were having a great time at the site.

3 months agoBy far the best playground in the city. Not only is City Park full of parks, but this particular park has multiple playgrounds for a variety of age groups all conveniently side-by-side. It's also right in front of Cafe Du Monde, by two pavilions, and two historic bridges across the pond. I brought my 2 year old there for her birthday.
