4 months agoOverall, it’s a good place for your child to be trained for a gymnastics however they need to get their system together. My child has been. In rec 3 for some months now and I was even told and handed a paper when they moved my daughter up now that she’s still going to practice they keep flip-flopping her to a lower class, which makes no sense the girl upfront Star Has an attitude She may be pleasant with her words, but her tone and delivery is very unacceptable. If she’s constantly bothered then that is not the right job for her, This is ridiculous They are not very well organized with their system. If you tell a parent something then you need to update things in the system So that the child isn’t confused and the parent isn’t confused, too much money is paid out monthly for this nonsense.

2 years agoStar gymnastics has great instructors but they need to change the carpet. It is moldy and not good for the occupants. The cleanliness of the place is abysmal. The customers and the staff deserves a cleaner and safer environment.

3 years agoWas a little hesitant to give this place a shot due to some of the bad reviews but I’m glad I went in. Yes admittedly they don’t have a receptionist or sales person on the floor ( as someone pointed below) but in good reason, because they are all coaches staffed and are all attending the kids and giving them all their full paid for session time. The kids are the stars of the show and parents are rarely addressed unless coaches would like the kids to work on something at home & honestly I feel that dynamic is perfect. It empowers the child . They also don’t have much time to chat with families because the classes are typically back to back and as mentioned they teach from start to finish. Coaches are friendly & make every child from beginner to expert feel included. They are very affordable. I was almost shocked at how affordable given the talent and techniques taught. I registered two of my children and they’ve been attending for a month now. They love it, are learning , thriving , and we are pleased. I say go in with an open mind. Be proactive in your questions , understand they are a busy facility that wants to threat their kids as priority, and let your child thrive and you’ll enjoy it.

2 years agoI didn't have a good experience. Booked for a trial class for my 3 year old. The person I spoke with was very informative and we were excited. We went early on a Saturday morning and there was no one at the reception desk. Which was okay because the students got an adult for me. There weren't any students there her age so the person asked if she wanted to warm up with the older students. Which was kind of awkward because my child didn't have a clue of what she was doing. I pulled her to the side and we watched the older girls warm up. They were great! And the male Coach seemed very knowledgeable. About 20 MIN later another male showed up and asked my daughter if she wanted to warm up. By then she was over it and in shut down mode. We ended up leaving. This seems like a great gym for older students or maybe younger ones. But I don't think they are really concerned about gaining new clients. UPDATE: we came back now that she is older. It's unfortunate that we didn't have the same experience that we are having now. Because she is years behind her age group. But, the coaches are very patient and helpful. I think it pays to come during a weekday.

2 years agoHello! I am one of the students at stars. I see that so many people think lowly of this place and I want to tell you about my experience. Ever since I was 6 years old, the awesome coaches with great skill, drive, and experience push us to work hard and stretch our muscles out. They might not act like it, but they welcome new kids to the group with open arms and they always teach them what to do if they’re unaware. The AC there doesn’t work, but the reason you sweat is because of the workout and they have fans everywhere in the building (including the parent seating area). I’m so glad that my dad enrolled me here I hope you give this place a try!!!
