  • **Bring picnic supplies:** With picnic areas and a BBQ grill, bringing your own food and drinks is encouraged.
  • **Utilize the trails:** The surrounding trails and big trees are great for a bike ride or a walk if you want to extend your visit beyond the play area.
  • **Be aware of dog policy:** Dogs are welcome on the surrounding trails but are NOT allowed inside the main play area.

Good to know before you go

  • If you require abundant and stress-free parking, as it can be challenging due to the park's popularity.
  • If you wish to skateboard within the park area (it's prohibited).
  • If you need to bring your dog *into* the main fenced play area (dogs are only allowed on surrounding trails).

"Great park! Love that it is fenced, has the soft ground material that helps prevent injuries and also makes it an option for muddy days. There is a variety of play equipment for different ages. Very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms have toddler seats so the adults can go to the restroom with less of a struggle. Nice picnic areas and overall just a great space! Only negative is there's not enough parking for how popular of a spot it is."

"I love ❤️ this park it my favorite one so far because so many play areas for all ages (toddler under 2 yrs if age). It's clean and fenced in for safety. Highly recommend this park if you're in the lenexa area. My 2nd recommendation is Black Hoof Park, so many parks in one area. Shout out to park staff and parents who keep it clean. There are public bathrooms, including a family one."
