2 months agoSugarland Memorial Park is a nice family gathering spot. It has table tennis for the adults. Bathrooms are not that clean, and the floor is wet. This can be improved.

4 months agoThis place not only has walking trails and plenty of sidewalks, but the amount of MTB trails are crazy and that's what my wife, and I really like. We went yesterday and we're going back today It's worth the drive so if you want to use the park or just walk around or use the zip lines or ride them trails this park has it all This is definitely our new favorite park.

a year agoSugar Land Memorial Park is undoubtedly one of the finest parks in Sugar Land, offering a serene tribute to our heroes. The monument dedicated to veterans, accompanied by beautiful structures, creates a poignant atmosphere, reminding us of the sacrifices made. The park's aesthetics are enhanced by a picturesque lake seamlessly blending with the lush trees, forming a tranquil backdrop for various activities. Whether you're planning a picnic, a run, or a leisurely walk, there's a designated resting area equipped with barbecue facilities, providing a perfect setting for outdoor gatherings. Conveniently located restrooms add to the park's practicality. One of the park's standout features is the extensive trail, offering a scenic journey with the added joy of encountering other dogs and indulging in some people-watching. The park truly caters to a diverse range of interests. Sugar Land Memorial Park not only provides a space for outdoor activities but also serves as a haven for relaxation and reflection. It's a fantastic spot for families to have fun, capture beautiful moments, and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Without a doubt, it's a place worth visiting, offering a blend of natural beauty, thoughtful amenities, and a heartfelt tribute to our veterans.

6 months agoBeautiful park right along the Brazos river. This year with the rain, the grass is especially green. Well-kept gravel and paved paths for a walk or run. Self-service kayaks are available for some extra fun. It is also a great place to watch the birds for nature enthusiasts. The proximity to the river and the general geographic location of the Houston area brings plenty of migratory birds twice a year. Close by there are bike paths and hiking trails through the forest belt that borders the Brazos river. Bug spray highly recommended otherwise the mosquitoes will make a feast out of you this summer. Safe area for families with children as there is plenty of space for kids to play, while you enjoy a picnic with family and friends. The park also includes zip-line activities and a playground. But if you are just looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind, this is a lovely park to do just that as well.
