🍎Food Policy

• • Patrons are allowed 2 unfrozen, commercially-sealed non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles (up to 33.8 fl oz each).
• • Patrons can bring in soft, empty, squeezable plastic water bottles to be filled at water fountains.
• • Canned water is prohibited.
• • Commercially-sealed non-alcoholic beverages may need to be poured out on the day of the show, check event page for specifics.
• • Alcohol is available for purchase; valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID is required for purchase and consumption for guests 21+.
• • Dewey’s Pizza cheese and pepperoni slices, as well as a small selection of chips, nuts, and candy, are available for purchase at concessions.

🛡️Safety Policy

• • All guests entering the theatre are subject to a metal-detector screening (walk-thru magnetometer and/or wand), visual inspection, and bag inspection.
• • Clear Bag Policy: Clear bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" are permitted (bags with patterns obstructing visibility are not allowed). Small clutch bags no larger than 6” x 9” are permitted and do not need to be clear. Medically necessary bags and diaper bags (accompanied by the guest using them) are permitted but will be searched. Bags from official VIP merchandise packages (distributed by the tour on show day) are permitted but subject to security screening.
• • Some events are 'phone-free': Use of phones, smart watches, and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space. Devices will be secured in individual Yondr pouches and opened at the end of the event. Anyone using a device during the performance will be escorted out.
• • The Taft Theatre is a smoke-free facility; a designated smoking area is located outside The Ballroom entrance (patrons subject to search upon re-entry).
• • Prohibited items include: Alcohol, aerosol spray cans, animals (except service animals), bags not meeting clear bag policy, fireworks or incendiary devices, glass/metal/hard-plastic containers, canned beverages, laser pointers, professional cameras (detachable lenses), GoPro/Action Cameras or any video/audio recording device, posters/signs larger than 8.5” x 11”, iPads/laptops/similar devices, whiteboards, weapons of any kind, tools, hard-sided coolers, glow sticks/bracelets/necklaces, masks or non-medical face coverings, musical instruments, inflatables, selfie sticks, pointed tip umbrellas, club colors, spiked jewelry or any type of chain, stickers, any other item deemed unacceptable by Taft Theatre management.
• • Allowed items include: Small cameras (must fit in a shirt pocket), strollers, squeezable empty soft plastic water bottles, portable chargers (same size or smaller than phone), poster tubes.
• • Guests may be ejected for reasons including public intoxication, use of illegal substances/drugs, disruptive behavior, use of profane/obscene/abusive language, possession of illegal/unauthorized items, unacceptable/indecent dress, throwing objects, verbally abusing/threatening/intimidating performers/guests/staff, participating in a fight, entering unauthorized areas, breaking the law, or any action that endangers guests or reduces their enjoyment. Ejected guests will not receive refunds.

• • Screenshots, photocopies, and printed barcodes or QR codes of tickets are not valid for entry.
• • Ticketmaster resale is not approved for certain shows; check specific event details.
• • For Will Call tickets: Patrons must present a picture ID, the credit card used for purchase, and the confirmation number. Tickets will only be released to the patron(s) named on the account; tickets cannot be left in another person’s name.
• • No re-entry for all events.
