We made this a destination while visiting Indianapolis with our 6 yr old. This children’s museum has a lot to offer for a wide variety of ages. Parking is free. My son particularly enjoyed the outdoor sports area which included basketball, hockey, tennis, baseball, soccer, pedal race cars and mini golf. There’s also an outdoor climbing structure. Concessions were available outside and there’s a cafe inside. Other highlights included the STEM area, dinosaur exhibit, comics, trains, sports legends and history/power of children exhibit (Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges and Ryan White). They also had a Mickey Mouse Club house area and indoor play area which seemed more geared to younger kiddos. There’s an indoor carousel. Tickets are a little pricey but we easily spent 4-5 hrs there so I feel like we got our money’s worth. Tickets for the Ferris wheel outside are extra. Museum seemed clean and there was hand sani/wipes everywhere. Bathrooms are readily available and clean.

Theres something here for everyone, young and old alike! It's called the Children's museum, but adults enjoy it as well! The cost is a little steep to get in, so the membership option is honestly more economical. The cost can be offset by the fact that they allow you to bring in your own food. There's a lot of walking, so wear your comfy shoes. Consider buying your tickets in advance, and then starting at another level to being. There tends to be a bottle-neck at the dinosaur exhibit which is the first thing you see. If you arrive in the morning, consider doing that part later to avoid the crowds.

Best childrens museum I have ever been to. The outdoor sports arena was the coolest! However I think children not being allowed to go around from game to game playing just because they aren't 16...I think that's a little old given the circumstances and how it's set up. The awesome statues of famous athletes is a nice touch! Free parking is a huge plus and a convenient walk accross the Skywalk. Having to scan your tickets multiple times everything you want to play sports is a big annoying. Great for the price though. Awesome hands on activities. I will say the surrounding area around the museum isn't ideal for some people it is definitely run down. I would return to Indianapolis just for the museum....for more disturbing news....I found it interesting that there's signs up everywhere about how many thousands of homeless children there are in Indy but I noticed some HUGE international schools for children...I can't help but to think....why are you inviting more children into your community that do not even live in this country if you already have thousands displaced every night? Maybe take care of the people that live in your own community before inviting others to be morters for your propaganda. Just my personal observations.

It was a cool museum! Love that the extra exhibits were included in admission (Cincinnati museum needs to learn something here). Parking was free! And it was so cool to see all 4 levels of fun! Carousel is only $2 a kid which is so affordable! Definitely recommend. 4stars because $12 for a bottled pop and Gatorade was outrageous! We starved until we left bc I was not paying their pricing for food lol.

This was probably the best children’s museum I have been to! The exhibits and activities were interactive for all ages and probably more fun for me as an adult. The outdoor area is amazing and great to get the toddler energy out! Naturally, snacks and drinks are a little expensive, but that is to be expected. I can’t wait to go again!
