2 months agoOur school had a fabulous time at The Cat in the Hat! We were greeted and the process of finding our seats was seamless. The theater is gorgeous with great care given to maintaining its originality from 1928.

2 weeks agoHonestly, it's there's a lot you can say about TCT...The pros: very clean and well maintained theater and the entire building is always extremely organized and which makes you feel better about the cost of the tickets to go see the shows. Speaking of, the shows are great too. They put on some really impressive performances (especially considering their casts are always full of younger kids). Everything from the sets, to the costumes, to the performers themselves feels elevated. Even their summer camps are great- again- I feel 100% good about the cost of the camps because the quality matches the price...So, when it came to signing my child up for acting classes- I was excited, but was quickly disappointed. The teacher my son had (who is actually listed here in another poor review) has lackluster personality, which is really important when you're teaching children acting. Your enthusiasm level is important. The "acting" classes are really nothing more than beginner level improve games. If you're looking for something fun to do for an hour - this is cool. But, if you're looking for a class that will further your child's interest and skills in acting, this is not it unfortunately. Again- there are pros and cons. This is the only con we've seen so far.

2 months agoMy son attended classes last year and loved it. This year was a disaster. His new teacher Shelby showed discrimination towards my child. He was forced to sit on the floor while all of the other kids got to participate in being a character. That is the whole reason he is there, to act out a character, not sit and watch others. Shelby never communicated with my son as to why he was being left out. He was in tears telling me what happened. When approached she blatantly lied. I was promised a refund and never received it. Be cautious about this place.

6 months agoWe were thoroughly impressed with the Children's Theater's production of Beauty and the Beast. We loved singing along with all of our favorite songs while watching the story unfold among an eye-catching backdrop. We also thought the length of the show was the perfect amount to keep our little ones engaged and entertained. Well done to the cast and crew!
