I am not a fan of haunted houses. That being said I brought my granddaughter to see The Darkness because she had never been to one. It was a really good experience. The house has good security. The animatronics were great! There are several surprises. The ghouls and goblins were out in numbers. They have small groups enter at intervals so it’s never crowded. And you can enjoy the experience. You can tell a lot of thought, time and expense went into this venue. I would highly recommend The Darkness!!

Waited about 25 minutes to get in, but they were playing good music and it went by fast. This place is top notch, while it is much shorter than its sister location Creepyworld, I highly recommend doing both. I love the Darkness and to every year.

An absolute blast! Favorite spot during Halloween! Me and my kids love Halloween and there isn't anything better in the season than getting a group together and hitting The Darkness. Jump-scares galore! If you're a horror movie nut like we are, make sure you check out the gift shop at the end. So much fun stuff to check out. Definitely need to stop by when they're open for things throughout the year.

I am not a fan of haunted houses but I was impressed. Worth the money 33.00 per person be ready too stand in line if you didn't purchase the speed pass for an additional $15. But honestly they move the line very fast. If you are into Halloween and love to be scared visit this place it did not disappoint. The also have an area when you exit where you can take photos play games..buy items such as t-shirts masks ect.....

Loved our experience here for Christmas! We arrived early for the 6pm (1st showing. We arrived at 5:30. Entered at 6:15), so crowding wasn't an issue for us, but I can see how later arrivals will have a problem with parking and crowding in the venue as we easily caught up to the people ahead of us, and the people behind us caught up to us. I can see this as being problematic as the event goes on through the night. The actors outside helped keep the peace and entertain the crowd outside as it grew and kept composure even when heckled by poor acting patrons. Overall, we enjoyed the animatronics, jump scares, and special effects. The laser effects they used in various areas of the show were very unique and wonderful (without giving too much away on their techniques, it was one of my favorite parts). The smoke effects used in some areas were a little overwhelming and made it difficult to find where to go, but the actors would help you feel like a fool and point you in the right direction. (All in fun) Lol. The 3D area was unique, but I spent too much time getting the 3D glasses to stay on, but I understand this is a small part and potentially a one-off issue. People who wear glasses may have a problem with that section of the haunt. Many of the animatronics leaped out and would touch and/or push the viewers, and some spaces were very tight in this respect as well. However, I believe being uncomfortable and worrisome is part of the experience. Thank you so much for adding a great piece to our date night! I give you an A (from an A++ to F- rating scale).
