The Goddard School of Raleigh (Ridge Road)

We've had a wonderful experience with Goddard at Ridge Rd! The location is very convenient, and the environment is warm and welcoming. The staff is caring and attentive. Our child feels comfortable, happy, and confident here, which gives us great peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Two kids of mine have gone or go to Goddard. They are a great institution and are definitely value added education beyond just daycare. The owner, Jon, is kind and the director, Rachelle, runs a tight ship and keeps everything running smooth. Clean, nice facility and caring teachers. Class sizes are small and my wife and I really enjoy the bubble parties. holiday parties, halloween socials, gingerbread houses, and other arts and crafts the kids make. Its also nice they have an indoor gym where the kids play soccer shots in a climate controlled environment. Everything is very structured and its very well run. My son is also very prepared for kindegarten and we feel its very much bc of the role Goddard played educationally, socially, and emotionally. We highly recommend!

Goddard was my child's first school and we had a truly wonderful experience! I was nervous about sending our child to daycare when they turned 2, but the teachers and staff were incredibly kind, supportive, and responsive to our child’s needs (which includes allergies). Ms. Skylar and Ms. Zoe in particular were incredible - you can tell they truly love what they do and make the children feel safe and loved. The communication from the teachers and Goddard leadership was wonderful and helped me understand how my child was doing day to day - including multiple pictures of our child smiling and playing with friends, a summary of what they ate, how long they napped, etc. My child also loved the frequent special events they organized - including a visit from “DJ Bubbles” over the summer, yoga sessions, soccer time, and book days. The school is run very efficiently (thanks to Rachelle and Allyson) with operations and processes in place to ensure child safety and thoughtful engagement of parents and families. We are so grateful to have been part of the Goddard family!

We have had a great experience at the Ridge Road Goddard School! All the teachers and staff are great, and they know and love our son. We are confident he is safe (security is taken very seriously, as is compliance with all safety regulations) and we know he is well cared for in an environment that encourages both academic and socioemotional learning. It has also been nice as a family to feel like we are part of a community. Highly recommend!

We started at Goddard in August after leaving KinderCare at UNC Rex and the difference is night and day! Goddard does SO much for not just the children and families that attend, but the teachers and that makes all the difference. The love and care that the teachers and staff pour into each other and the kids is truly unmatched. We noticed so much growth with our daughter just after the first week there! Ms. Priscilla, Ms. Zoe, and Ms. Jessica are so wonderful and we could not ask for better teachers for our daughter. Every afternoon, without prompting, our daughter tells us how much she loves her teachers and how much fun she has with them. You can tell they love the kids in their class and that it isn't just a job to them. We are so happy at Goddard!
