10 months agoJason was really kind and helpful with my two children. We purchased an hour of time with an instructor and the kids had so much fun. Even if a wall was challenging, Jason was encouraging and my girls made it to the top of every one and had fun doing it. They were so proud of themselves. This is great exercise for them and really works their upper body and core.

a month agoNo warm-up or stretching area. No boards. No fun. Bit smelly. Wasn’t a fan of the bouldering setting at all. Wonky movement, no grades on half the climbs, bare walls and way too sandbagged for having like 10 climbs. I’ve been to gyms across the world, and this definitely was the worst. There’s nothing in the setting that builds a better climber, or pushes for learning movement or technique. I’ve never been to any other gravity vaults, and don’t plan on it if this represents their brand. Only gave it two stars because the staff was friendly otherwise one star gym.

5 months agoTo preface, I have climbed at gyms across the country, and this is by far the worst one that I’ve ever been to. I can only speak to the bouldering area, as that’s all I did. The route setting is absolutely trash. The grades are significantly more sand-baggy than any other gym I’ve been to, which would be fine if the climbs were fun. They weren’t. We were there while the route setters were “working”, and it’s just a bunch of trad-dads sand-bagging each other (we literally heard them talking about it). This felt like they were setting as if it’s their personal gym, with little to no easy/moderate problems. It’s clear that the route setters can only make a problem more difficult by making it more reachy, very unfortunate for younger and shorter climbers. Every crux is a big reach while you cut feet. On top of all of that, the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. On the bright side, the woman working the front desk was incredibly nice!

2 months agoI’m a beginner. Bought a 1 hour private staff belay and Jake was super helpful and friendly. I learned a lot from him. He cheered me on and provided useful tips as I climbed. Great little workout!
