a month agoThe Aquatics Staff... AMAZING and have very attentive life guards. The Housekeeping Staff... AMAZING and the locker rooms are always clean. The front desk in the evenings? Horrible.... Attitude + Snark. The Kroc center schedule online is no longer active. So I called the front desk to inquire about their Aquatics Schedule for a class I paid for. Front desk told me they have NO access to any kind of schedule for the ENTIRE PLACE until the MORNING OF. (Meanwhile there's a paper printed monthly schedule taped in various areas of the Center) How does a place with so many moving parts and programs run when the staff doesn't know what's happening until the day of? I believe it was an excuse, so she didn't have to preform her job function and could go back to playing on her phone. Overall it's a great place with the exception of the front desk.

2 weeks agoI had a membership with these supposed public servants for 3 years to utilize their gym and swimming pool, while living in Norfolk then I cancelled my membership and supposedly they lost my cancellation form and charged my account every month for the next two years while living in north Carolina where their is no access, to salvation army gyms and I've gotten the run around about getting refunded for the past8 months since finding out they've been drafting from my account. This is absolutely ridiculous customer service

a month agoI went in not knowing they didn’t do day passes anymore and instead of answering my questions and trying to help me become a member they just kept giving me short snippy responses. “No. Not anymore.” I find the front desk to be very rude, snappy, and lazy. After today I will not be getting a membership or coming back.

3 years agoOmg The Kroc Center exceeded my expectations. Everyone is super nice and super helpful. The event coordinator, Tosha, was amazing!! I threw my son's 10th birthday party here in the pool area and everyone had fun, especially the kids. The pool area almost looked like a small waterpark. There's a regular pool, slides, lazy pool, and a splash area for smaller kids. I mean there was something for everyone. It was great place to have a birthday party 🎉 🥳 🥰

7 months agoMy wife and I were considering starting a membership for our family here until we met the staff working the front desk. I had plenty of questions to ask just to make sure I understood what we were going to pay for. A younger lady seemed to be the voice of the front desk and she seemed to not know what customer service is. She answered questions with an attitude and when her supervisor was notified, it seemed as though the supervisor was going to back her up. It is not worth our time and money to be treated in such manner and I highly recommend anybody considering going to this place to do a trial and research instead of committing to a contract just to make sure that this place is a fit for you. For a community center, this place needs to reevaluate their employees and make sure it's more of a welcoming place for their customers.
