The Spot Bouldering Gym

"Welp, I’m big enough to admit when I’m wrong. During my trip I went back to this gym for a second time. I went at a different time of day, with different staff members. The evening staff was so friendly and helpful (shoutout Sokka and Sokka’s dad). I can appreciate everyone has a bad day from time to time and I wouldn’t want someone to give me a Google review on one of my bad days. Again, facility is clean, large, and as another reviewer said, the problems are set well. Nice workout equipment as well. I still think the mats could use some softening but perhaps they are new and still being work"

"It’s a good gym and I love the community events. The only reason it’s 3 stars instead of 5 is because this location in particular has a relatively frequent issue of staff not showing up in time to unlock the doors for open (which is super frustrating for someone like me who can quite literally only climb from 8:00 to 8:40 AM most days)… I’ve been a member for a little over a year and it’s happened probably around ten times during morning sessions in that period - twice I ended up just having to leave because it took so long for someone to get here. As of right now writing this it’s 8:12, 12 mi"
