a year agoThis nature preserve is such a gem You can see so many different animals when you come here if you're patient enough. I've seen tons of ducks and geese, lots of turtles (including snapping turtles!), muskrats, deer.. I've visited on 80+ degree days, regular sunny days, and rainy days. It's so peaceful in any type of weather My favorite is the boardwalk towards the back. That's a quick 30minute or so walk if you don't have a lot of time. You can also spend a few hours here if you walk the entire preserve Good place for the pokestops and pokegyms too

10 months agoFantastic treasure on the Buffalo waterfront!! Beautiful preserve with lots of trails, a lake for fishing and so much wildlife. Take the trip and spend the day exploring. Note no dogs are allowed on trails and fishing is only in marked areas.

2 years agoTifft has so much to offer and I've only walked through 75% of the area at the time of this review. Being close to Gallagher Pier and Lake Erie is fantastic, especially if you want to catch a sunset. So far I haven't noticed much trash in the area, which has been great to see. (Please leave no trace!) The hills are a fun walk and you'll sometimes find some deer walking about. They've been fairly calm which makes for fun picture taking. Parking, there's a good amount of it but be mindful in the winter. It's gravel and dirt, so you'll find large and deep holes. There are a lot of neat photo opportunities here, so bring your camera!
