Expert Summary

Detailed Insights

Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites offers a convenient on-site stay for families primarily interested in maximizing their time at the adjacent Triple Play indoor activity complex. Its unique value lies in bundling accommodation with activity passes, especially during off-peak seasons (like winter weekdays) when the venue is less crowded and passes may include 'everything inside'. It's positioned as a hub for multi-day indoor family entertainment.

Key Highlights

  • Location offers great ease of access to the Triple Play activity complex.
  • Complimentary hot breakfast is available, described by some as plentiful with many hot choices.
  • During slower seasons (e.g., winter weekdays), the activity complex can be 'practically empty', offering a less crowded experience.
  • Hotel offers large suites that can comfortably sleep up to 8 people, potentially at a 'very good rate' during slower periods.
  • Some guests experienced 'amazing' entire hotel staff and courteous individual staff members.
  • 24-hour laundry facilities and a gym are available on-site.
  • Activity wristbands, particularly during the winter schedule, can be comprehensive, including 'everything inside' the Triple Play complex for a fixed daily cost per child (e.g., $100 for two days per child).

Standout Features

  • Convenient adjacency to the Triple Play entertainment complex.
  • Availability of large suites for bigger families (sleeps 8 comfortably).
  • Complimentary hot breakfast with variety.
  • On-site 24-hour laundry facilities.
  • On-site gym.
  • Potentially inclusive activity passes during specific seasons/promotions.

Perfect For

Suitable for families with school-aged children (a 6-year-old daughter and 'five grandchildren' were mentioned).
Designed for kids who can enjoy various indoor activities (water park, bowling, etc.), though specific age-gated areas or features are not detailed.

Ideal For

Families prioritizing proximity and convenience to an indoor entertainment complex over hotel room quality.
Larger families or groups traveling together who can utilize multi-person suites.
Budget-conscious families seeking a 'good rate' for a suite during off-peak times.
Families looking for an all-inclusive indoor activity experience, particularly during winter schedules when passes cover 'everything'.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Consider visiting during the off-season (e.g., winter weekdays) to experience fewer crowds and potentially better rates/inclusive activity passes.
  • Thoroughly inspect your room upon arrival for cleanliness, bed condition, and functioning amenities (soap dispensers, HVAC, keycard readers). Report issues immediately.
  • Do not rely on late checkout promises; plan accordingly or call exactly at 7 AM, but be prepared for disappointment.
  • If parking is a concern, try to minimize leaving the resort once you've secured a spot.
  • Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise from other guests in adjacent rooms.
  • Confirm exactly what activities are included with wristbands/passes for your specific dates, as inclusions can vary by season.
  • Manage expectations regarding staff consistency; while some are 'amazing', be prepared for potential poor service interactions.

Things to Consider

  • Rooms frequently reported as dirty and gross, with 'stuff all over the walls'.
  • Beds are a significant issue: described as 'completely worn out with large human shaped impressions', 'painful', and 'sunk in like the frame was busted'.
  • Hotel rooms are perceived as 'dark and dingy' and 'old and unkept'.
  • Inconsistent and poor staff service: instances of 'unhappy' employees, 'snarky' hotel workers, and one specific staff member (Elaine at breakfast) arguing with a guest, raising her voice, and throwing away food prematurely in front of a child.
  • Maintenance issues: non-working soap dispensers, 'couch bed smelled like urine', 'odd water pressure' in showers (either hot or cold), broken keycard readers requiring frequent replacements, and malfunctioning HVAC systems offering only 'frigid antarctic or hells furnace' options.
  • Noise is a problem: 'stomping and running in the other rooms kept us up all night'.
  • Breakfast quality is inconsistent; some found it plentiful and hot, while others deemed it 'subpar for the cost of the room'.
  • No late checkouts were available despite being told they could be arranged, leading to broken promises to children regarding water park access.
  • Hotel room rate is considered 'not inexpensive' and 'inflated' for the perceived quality, especially given that the pool is not included.
  • Parking is a major issue: 'literally no parking' as it shares a lot with Triple Play, making it 'hard to find a spot' if you leave and return.

Price & Value

The hotel rooms are described as 'not inexpensive' and some reviews label the rates as 'inflated' for a hotel perceived as 'old, dingy, and unkept', akin to a ' glorified Motel 6' with 'no pool included' in the room cost. However, a 'huge suite' for 8 people during the slowest season was booked for a 'very good rate'. Activity wristbands were mentioned at $100 per child for two days during the winter schedule, which included 'everything inside'. The value is highly dependent on the season, room type, and whether the inclusive activity passes during slower times justify the overall cost, as the hotel's individual quality often disappoints.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accommodations mentioned in the reviews.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • Complimentary hot breakfast is included with the room stay. No information provided regarding outside food or beverages permitted within the activity complex.

🚗Parking Info

  • Parking is a significant challenge: the hotel shares its lot with the Triple Play complex, leading to 'literally no parking' available. Guests reported difficulty finding a spot upon returning if they left the property.

👥Crowd Levels

  • The resort is 'practically empty' during its slowest season (e.g., winter, Monday around 2 PM).
  • Tuesday nights can get 'a little busier', potentially due to events like bowling league night.
  • No information available for weekend or peak season crowd levels, but implies weekdays during slower seasons are ideal for avoiding crowds.

🛡️Safety Features

  • No specific safety measures (e.g., lifeguards, controlled entry/exit, first aid) were mentioned in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • Families seeking a modern, pristine, or consistently clean hotel room with comfortable beds.
  • Guests who require quiet accommodations, especially if sensitive to noise from other rooms.
  • Travelers who frequently need to leave and return with their vehicle due to severe parking limitations.
  • Those with high expectations for consistent, friendly, and helpful customer service from all staff members.
  • Families who rely on guaranteed late checkouts for water park access on departure day.
  • Anyone expecting a pool to be included with the hotel room rate.

Booked a room on 4/19/25. The soap dispensers were not working, the couch bed smelled like urine. The employees seem like they are unhappy. One employee in particular on 4/20/25 gave me the worst service ever. The old skinny white breakfast lady, said her name was Elaine. I had mine and my daughter’s breakfast on the table and got up to use the restroom, when I came back she had thrown my food away. I told her I wasn’t done with my food and didn’t have to throw it away. If it was a mistake I would have understood so I thought she would just apologize but she argued with me instead. Raising her voice with a hateful rude tone in front of my 6 year old daughter justifying why she threw it away. She sounded very miserable and hateful. We did not deserve that.

Beds are completely worn out with large human shaped impressions. Rooms are dark and dingy. Hotel workers were snarky. The breakfast was subpar for the cost of the room. This hotel should be priced like what it is (an old, dingy, and unkept hotel with no pool included and a mediocre breakfast.) it’s a glorified Motel 6 with inflated rates just so you can go spend more money at Triple Play. We asked upon checking in if we could have late checkout the following day and were told that they gave a limited number, but if we called early we could get one. The next morning we called at 7 am and were told that they were giving absolutely no late checkouts. We had already promised our kids the water park that day which only opens at 10.

The hotel rooms are not inexpensive, but you can pay more. Our room had a couple of issues. The water pressure is odd in our room shower, which was either hot or cold. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of hot choices. The room was clean. People very nice everywhere.

Staff was courteous, and the location and ease for triple play was great. Other than that this place was terrible. The bed was painful and sunk in like the frame was busted. The keycard reader in the 2nd room for my daughters was busted, and had to get a new card every few hours. The stomping and running in the other rooms kept us up all night. The heater/ac in the room only had two options; frigid antarctic or hells furnace. The rooms are dirty and gross. There is stuff all over the walls. There is literally no parking here since it shares a parking lot with triple play itself. If you leave and go anywhere you'll have a hard time finding a spot when you return.

Stayed 2 nights and bought my five grandchildren two day passes which because of the winter schedule included e everything inside. This time of year is their slowest , so the place was practically empty when we showed up Monday around 2 pm...we were able to book a huge sweet that slept 8 people comfortably for a very good rate! The entire hotel staff were amazing and a complimentary hot breakfast was included. I took advantage of the laundry facilities open 24 hours there and even used the gym. Tuesday night got a little busier, but from what I could tell, they had bowling league night. Iwe drive over from Missoula Montana and I was impressed at all the activities that were available for the kids for just the cost of the wrist bands..which were $100 per kid for both days! I recommend taking a trip to triple play with your family
