"Like walking straight into a jungle, the Tropical Encounters experience at the Como Zoo is the perfect escape from cold Minnesota days, or to simply feel like you are in a completely different part of the world for a while. I could sit here for hours enjoying the sounds of nature and watching the turtles and fish. Occasionally you can see Chloe the sloth relaxing on a tree in this room, and there are also small exhibits for a few exotic frogs, tarantulas, and a few other reptiles as you walk through the area."

"The kids love seeing the turtles, fish, birds, and all the tropical plants. This is a great place to come in the winter in Minnesota."
