a month agoGreat, highly recommend going to the top, but it is a steep climb.

a year agoThe trail to the top is on tarmac. Great for groups, not so easy on your feet. There are dirt trails to the top, but I did not see them at night. No water or restrooms. At night, bring a headlamp or a flash light. As always, bring a real camera.

3 months agoTruly enjoyed the climb and people. The climb up got steep and challenging towards the top but I loved it. I ran the majority of the way downhill. It is a relatively short path and my only regret is that I only did one iteration (up and down). Definitely glad I opted to wear my Brooks running shoes, perfect for the paved path and running.

a year agoA really beautiful hike that id rate at a difficult level if 3/10. It’s a steep, somewhat truncated path, so it really just takes about 90 minutes up and down (if you take photos and go at a moseying pace like I did). I went around 5:30 in the summer. A bit before sunset, so as I hiked to the top it was pretty sunny but manageable. The best part of that is that the sun was setting once I reached the top and started my decent. Gorgeous views at that time of day, which you’d miss If you start too late. Saw plenty of wildlife. I suggest hiking without headphones to really absorb all that’s happening around you and to hear movement of smaller creatures. I saw some deer, cool birds, lizards, rabbits - but no snakes :/
