"The trail is simple, but nice. Goes along the creek, then up a small mountain. A few views at the top. And a lot of wildlife. I saw two big black birds, small lizards, and a tiny snake. Many people go there with a dog unleashed. The unpaved parking is small, but there should be a few places left. Also, some broken car glass can be spotted around, so be careful. However, I heard it has improved recently due to some measures."

"This trail holds a very special place in my heart. Nestled in one of the more scenic areas of Austin, it's easily one of the better hiking spots in the city. The path is well-maintained and offers a moderate challenge, making it accessible for most fitness levels. If you keep a steady pace, you can complete the loop in about 30 minutes—perfect for a quick yet refreshing outdoor escape. What really sets this trail apart are the views. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes it a peaceful retreat from city life, especially on weekends. Whether you're looking for a bit of solitude, a place "

"It's one of my favorite trails. Lots of hills and rocky. Love when the water hits it can be very peaceful. But unfortunately, I'm starting to notice the broken glass from car windows. And a lot of it. Wouldn't recommend leaving anything in your car and would leave the windows down. It sucks that you can no longer enjoy a hike."
