"My kid really liked this place. Looks like they have a miniature waterpark area that opens during summer I suppose. The playground area is a nice bouncy low impact recycled rubber material. They have swings for little and big kids, a big covered play set, and see-saws/spinny seats. Very peaceful and clean."

"This park has lots of shady trails that are great for walking on hot days. My dog loved it. Lots of cute painted rocks were hidden along the trails. There's also a splash pad, which is great for kids, but no dogs allowed inside. Nice that there was an ice cream truck parked there too."

"This is a very typical Henrico County park. It offers what needs to be offered and it does it well. The fountain area looks like a great place to take children, though I personally prefer the one at Short Pump Park. The park does a very good job of connecting well with the surrounding area and is about as pedestrian-oriented as an American park can get. The trail network here is definitely exercise oriented and not scenic in the slightest, with lots of places where people have cut off corners when the trail doubles back unnecessarily. Other than that one complaint, though, this park is great!"
