Upstart Athletics (Feet First Soccer, Step Up Soccer Academy, F.C. Horizon)

We have had an outstanding experience with Upstart Athletics (previously HappyFeet)! My son has been participating for the last 2 years. Each season, the coaches have been top notch and have demonstrated the perfect blend of learning and fun. We look forward to weekly practice and games - it's been a great way to keep our kiddo moving! This youth soccer league is a gem for any family looking to introduce their child to soccer. With its excellent coaches, top-tier organization, and positive, nurturing environment, it is the perfect setting for young ones to explore and enjoy the beautiful game, make new friends, and create memories. Can't wait to get our 2 year old playing soon!

We've been sending our son to Upstart Athletics for the past two seasons and he absolutely loves it! We've tried a few other places around the city and have found that Upstart Athletics provides the best combination of structure and coaching. The sessions are split into a practice and a game. Upstart Athletics provides the coaching so you don't have to worry about finding a coach or volunteering for your child's team. They really encourage the kids to have fun which helps them to enjoy playing soccer. The coaches bring awesome energy every practice and teach the kiddos soccer fundamentals through fun games. We can't say enough good things about Upstart Athletics! We would recommend them to any parent wanting to get their kids into soccer.

We love happy feet (Ages 2-5) and Future legends (ages 5-6). This league is amazing for kids learning to play soccer! The coaches are amazing! They are so fun and engaging with the kids! My son started at age 3 and hasn’t wanted to stop! We love soccer saturdays. We love the Brentwood location for the outdoor spring and fall soccer leagues. There’s plenty of parking (way better than some other little leagues around) and the fields are great! You won’t regret signing your kiddo up for this league! Happy feet has also been so accommodating in ensuring my son’s friends were all placed on the same “team” together as we requested each season when we signed up, which was especially helpful when the kids were first starting out and more timid. Soccer Saturday was not only full of games to learn skills and learning how to play soccer but an hour of play time with friends (and us moms enjoyed it too!) Thank you happy feet for always being so accommodating and making soccer fun!

We love Happy Feet! The coaches have been wonderful. I love that they offer a winter indoor season so I can get my kid moving during the winter. I also like that the first half of each hour is learning new skills and the second half is a game. If you’re looking to get your little one into a first sport, I’d highly recommend happy feet!

After two seasons of HappyFeet, we have been so thrilled with our experiences. The coaches are genuine, caring, knowledgeable, and supportive. After having a not-so-great experience with another program, our expectations simply that our kids would feel loved, grow in self-confidence, learn how to be part of a team, learn soccer on their own level, and most importantly, have fun!
