Expert Summary

Detailed Insights

Urban Air offers a variety of adventure attractions beyond trampolines, including zip lines, rock climbing, and a 'skydiving' activity, which appeals to kids. Memberships are highlighted as providing good value for frequent visitors. The core concept of varied active play is seen as 'neat' and, for some, preferable to other trampoline park options in the area.

Key Highlights

  • Features a variety of attractions and adventures, beyond just trampolines, that kids generally enjoy (e.g., zip line, rock climbing, 'skydiving').
  • Memberships are considered 'so worth the price' for families planning frequent visits.
  • Preferred over other trampoline parks in Albuquerque by one reviewer.

Standout Features

  • Variety of adventure attractions (zip line, rock climbing, skydiving) beyond basic trampolines.
  • Membership options provide good value for frequent visitors.

Perfect For

Suitable for school-aged children, specifically 6-year-old boys mentioned as enjoying the variety of attractions.
General appeal for 'kids' suggests elementary to pre-teen ages are the primary target.

Ideal For

Families seeking a wide variety of active play options beyond standard trampolines.
Families who will utilize memberships frequently to justify the cost.
Weekday outings for a potentially less crowded and chaotic experience.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Visit during the week, especially if your children are sensory-sensitive or crowd-sensitive, to avoid the 'extremely packed' weekend crowds.
  • Be prepared to purchase a separate, half-price wristband for adults who wish to supervise their children in the play areas, as this is a required policy.
  • **Crucially, parents must watch their children the entire time they are there due to reported lack of staff supervision and safety incidents.**
  • Bring your own socks, as implied by the purchase requirement and cleanliness issues.
  • Consider alternatives for birthday parties, given the severe negative experiences reported regarding organization, food, and safety.

Things to Consider

  • Venue gets 'packed with birthday parties' and 'extremely packed on the weekends', leading to a very loud environment.
  • General staff (often teenagers) are described as 'ok' but frequently not friendly, welcoming, or hospitable.
  • Concession stand lines are too long and inefficient; no app or kiosk ordering available.
  • Specific staff members have been unaccommodating or 'grumpy' when asked for clearer safety instructions or when dealing with guests with disabilities (e.g., hard of hearing, physical disability).
  • Management often unavailable; requests to speak with supervisors/managers were refused, or managers failed to appear.
  • Adults are required to purchase a half-price wristband to supervise their children in the play areas, even if not participating, a policy not always clearly explained upfront.
  • Significant lack of staff supervision in play areas led to an adult guest hitting a parent in the head, with staff doing nothing and being dismissive of the incident.
  • Facilities are described as unclean: trampolines are 'filthy' and restrooms are 'disgusting'.
  • Birthday party experiences can be 'disorganized' with 'ghost' hosts, leaving parents to manage everything themselves.
  • Food provided for parties (pizza) arrived with 'hair baked right into it', with no apology or resolution offered.
  • Critical safety lapse in 'skydiving' activity: no staff oversight, timers, or checks, resulting in a child staying in too long, becoming dizzy/disoriented, and requiring paramedics.
  • Management (specifically 'Brian') was unresponsive, dismissive, arrogant, and refused to provide corporate contact information for serious issues.
  • Parties held without ensuring guests signed waivers, posing a significant safety and liability concern.
  • Difficulty contacting management or the 'owner' for complaints or resolution.

Price & Value

Value is described as 'OK' generally, but memberships are seen as 'so worth the price' for frequent visitors. However, there are no discounts on Saturdays. Adults supervising children must pay half the child's pass price for a wristband. A reported $1,400 for a two-hour birthday party was deemed an 'absolute trainwreck' due to severe service, safety, and hygiene failures, indicating very poor value for premium events.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No accommodations mentioned; instead, negative experiences reported for individuals with disabilities.
  • Staff refused to speak clearly for a hard-of-hearing parent despite requests and became angered.
  • Staff showed 'NO consideration' for a parent with a physical disability regarding appropriate seating, enforcing a policy that required sitting on an uncomfortable bench.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • A concession stand is available, but suffers from long lines and inefficient service.
  • Pizza provided for a birthday party was reported to have 'hair baked right into it', indicating hygiene issues.
  • No specific mention of outside food being allowed or disallowed.

🚗Parking Info

  • Not mentioned in reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Very crowded on Saturdays due to numerous birthday parties.
  • Can get 'extremely packed on the weekends', making the venue loud.
  • Weekdays are recommended for a better experience, suggesting they are less crowded.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Staff are meant to provide safety instructions (e.g., for zip line, rock climbing), but consistency and clarity are concerns (e.g., 'Bailey' at zip line, staff not 'on point' for rock climbing).
  • Adult wristbands are required for entry into play areas, presumably for supervision, but staff supervision is severely lacking.
  • Multiple incidents highlight significant safety failures: an adult guest assaulting a parent with no staff intervention, a child staying in a 'skydiving' activity too long due to no oversight (leading to paramedics being called), and no waivers being signed for party guests.
  • Staff responses to safety concerns range from dismissive ('He may have problems') to outright refusal to escalate to management.

When to Avoid

  • Saturday visits due to extreme crowding, loud conditions, and being 'packed with birthday parties'.
  • If you or your children require attentive staff supervision or have specific safety concerns (e.g., proper instruction, monitoring of activities).
  • If you have a hearing disability or physical disability, as staff have been reported to be unaccommodating and disrespectful.
  • If you expect high standards of cleanliness for facilities (trampolines, restrooms).
  • Planning a birthday party here, given the severe issues with hosts, food quality, safety oversight, and management responsiveness.
  • If efficient concession stand service is important to you.

Yesterday was our first and last visit to the Urban Air Adventure Park in Albuquerque, which included myself and my twin 6-year-old boys. Overall, the variety of attractions (adventures) was neat, but the place was obviously packed with birthday parties on a Saturday. In general, the staff were all teenagers who were "ok," but nobody was particularly friendly, welcoming or hospitable. Value was OK (there is huge overhead to run a place like this), but there are absolutely no discounts on Saturdays which is understandable. The line at the concession stand was too long to stand in, and I speculate there might be a more efficient way to take orders (i.e. app or kiosk, etc.), so we did not eat there as we had intended. My kids had a lot of fun until we got to getting geared up with harnesses for the overhead "zip line." A grumpy employee, "Bailey," who was doing this role did not speak clearly with her instructions to us (which are obviously important from a safety standpoint) and I am hard of hearing (especially considering how loud the place was). I told her that I had a hearing disability, and asked her 3x to speak up, to which she not only refused but seemed to become angered by the request. I then politely asked to speak to her supervisor/manager, which she also refused. I then patiently waited for 15 minutes for such manager to appear, but nobody ever came, so we left and will not be back. I am a really reasonable person, but this kind of attitude does not earn my repeat business when there are so many competing alternatives. It's still a neat concept and with some better management it could probably be the kind of place we would patronize frequently. Read the other reviews and then draw your own conclusion.

I have been waiting to leave a review while I waited for other opinions to see what the case was with the staff. My wife and I took my daughter and my son for a good time out to celebrate my sons birthday. My wife and I have been here before, we supervised our kids to make sure they were on their best behavior. (We also purchased socks to walk around and supervise them) Previous times were perfect, but not this one. We decided to go back in early March. We walked into the play area with our socks. I got stopped and was told that we had to purchase a wristband to take care of our children even though this was not explained at the front. We were sent back to the counter, I asked how do I supervise my kids without being allowed in the play area? The cashier at the desk said the staff was more than capable of taking care of children, ( We did not believe so as we had seen bad staff reviews) My wife and I both had to purchase a wrist band at half price of a child's pass. As my children were playing while my wife watched them, I was reading the rules on the wall to find out a FULL GROWN man jumping around the same area as my children were jumping, ran out and hit my wife in the head with his fist and ran back as he acted like he never did anything. Staff was not around to witness it or stop it. (Remember the staff was capable of watching children without adult supervision, right?) What if my wife and I were not around to see what could have turned out to be one of our children being assaulted or even WORSE? I went to find the staff which was a TEENAGER. I explained what happened. He just said "He may have problems" and said there was nothing he could do about it. The rest of the day was absolutely unpleasant. I'm glad we did not trust the staff and purchased the two parent passes. ZERO OUT OF FIVE STARS! The management that changes all the time will not help either. The "owner" will also not contact us back as there is no real way to contact. Parents WATCH YOUR CHILDREN the entire time you are there! Please! Our socks were filthy because the trampolines are not cleaned. I also agree with comments about the disgusting restrooms.

I have a physical disability. I brought my kids here for my son’s birthday. I can’t sit on hard chairs or benches. I found a massage chair to sit in where my kids were playing. I was told I needed a wrist band to sit there but I could sit on a bench that was next to me which I can not do. I left and I will NEVER be back!!!!!! The worker had absolutely NO consideration for my situation!!!! Sad

My kids love it here, the memberships are so worth the price. My only complaint is some of the staff need to be more on point in terms of the rock climbing area and ensuring proper safety instructions are understood by the kids climbing. Otherwise, I would recommend this trampoline park over the other choices in Albuquerque! It can get extremely packed on the weekends though, so I'd visit during the week if you have anyone sensory-sensitive or crowd-sensitive for a better experience!

Our experience at Urban Air was an absolute trainwreck, and I’m still in disbelief over how badly it went. We paid a jaw-dropping $1,400 for a two-hour birthday party for my son, expecting a fun, professionally managed event. Instead, it was a disorganized, unsafe disaster that left us feeling cheated and furious. Right from the start, everything fell apart. The host assigned to our party was a ghost—completely MIA at times. We were left to fend for ourselves, trying to manage a pack of excited kids with no help, no direction, and no idea where anything was. For that kind of money, you’d think they’d at least have someone show up to do their job, but apparently, that’s too much to ask. Then there was the food—or what passed for it. The pizza arrived with *hair* baked right into it. It was beyond disgusting, and when we pointed it out, no one cared enough or even to offer a half-hearted apology. For a $1,400 “premium” party package, that’s an insult... The worst part came with the skydiving activity. We were thrilled to try it, but apparently, no one at Urban Air thought it was worth monitoring how long kids were in there. He stayed in far too long because there was no oversight—no timers, no staff checking, nothing. He stumbled out dizzy and disoriented, and it got so bad we had to call paramedics to make sure he wasn’t seriously hurt... At this point the manager Brian was in the corner on the phone surfing the internet...I was a wreck watching our son suffer while the manager milled around like it was just another day. When I finally confronted the manager to demand some accountability, not only did they not care, but they had the nerve to point their fingers in my face and dismiss me like I was overreacting. I was livid, but it got worse. I asked for the corporate number to escalate this nightmare, and the manager smirked and said, “I’m the boss. They’ll just send you back to me.” So, apparently, there’s no one to hold this place accountable—not even a shred of hope for resolution. For $1,400, I expected a safe, enjoyable experience with competent staff who at least pretended to care. Instead, we got a poorly run disaster with health hazards, an arrogant manager, and no way to get help from higher up. Urban Air turned what should’ve been a joyful celebration into a stressful, dangerous ordeal I’ll never forgive them for. Save your money and your sanity—avoid this place like the plague. ALSO: No-one in the party signed a waiver.
