"I cannot say enough good things about renting a SUP from Urban Kai. While you should definitely make a reservation if you can, I showed up on a Wednesday morning and was all set up on the water within about 15 minutes. Sam was so friendly and told me ALL of the spots to see manatees. Cannot recommend renting here enough!"

"Beautiful setting to paddleboard at Urban Kai’s location. The hands on staff were so kind and had excellent service, but we were thrown by the older woman (assumed) manager being incredibly sharp toned and rude to our group a few times. I can’t say we will be back after that experience, but definitely worth trying once for the manatees!"

"Wish there was an option for more than 5 stars! Mike (the owner) is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about Tampa Bay. For the last 3 years my residency program has been coming to Urban Kai for the guided tour. Sam along with the other guides accompanied us on our trip and ensured we saw wildlife, the mangroves, and felt comfortable on the paddle boards and kayaks. I’ve got a few other times outside of the guided tour and each time we have blast. If you’re looking to explore the area, have family in town, or just simply want a quick trip to relax and get away then I’d certainly recommend "
