4 months agoThanks to Manfred, we see a realm sublime, Where cosmic dances transcend time, The UWM Planetarium casts its spell, In the starry vault where wonders dwell. Underneath the dome's vast canopy, Astral tales unfold in clarity, Galaxies whirl in symphonic grace, A ballet of stars through boundless space. Constellations etch their ancient lore, In the firmament's grand theatre, Orion's belt and Cassiopeia's pride, Narrate the chronicles of the cosmic tide. Nebulae blossom in spectral hues, Their wisps of light a cosmic muse, Within this sphere of stellar art, Science and magic elegantly part. Jupiter's storms and Saturn's rings, Compose an opus that the cosmos sings, With every beam of light that flares, We trace the path of cosmic affairs. In this sanctuary of night’s embrace, We glimpse the universe's vast face, At UWM, where knowledge expands, Through the cosmos' infinite strands. Join the journey where dreams ignite, In the Planetarium's starry light, Where intellect and wonder align, In a celestial symphony, ever divine.

a year agoSaw a show intended for young children. It was very informative and age appropriate. This place seems to have a lot of potential. I look forward to returning.

a year agoPresenter was very funny and informative. Presentation had a good flow, kept audience captivated and relatable because it discusses a lot about the Milwaukee sky. For all ages. Definitely planning to see other presentations.

8 years agoMy wife and I have enjoyed the handful of shows that we've made it to. We only wish they advertised better so that we were more in tune with their semester schedules! The shows are a bit lacking as they are usually just pictures while someone talks, but they work with what resources they have (in what is quite a little planetarium). The stargazing portions are in fact amazing, seeing the stars and finding the constellations is always fun. Definitely worth the few dollars it costs for 30+min show they put on.
