a month agoWe went on a kayaking tour with David and Elijah and had an amazing time! The weather was very windy but they were very supportive and David made sure to encourage everyone to make it to the cave! We had an absolute great time and everyone made it!

7 months agoEasy for beginners, progress is entirely up to you. Little to no current, so you gotta keep paddling your way to destination. Along the way we saw the great American Bald Eagle peering down at its breakfast, Crawfish and the occasional leaping fish. I also saw cranes hunting the still shores, a rattlesnake tucked between/under rocks, quietly waiting for small birds. About 4-5 different variety of birds. One that stood out were small and green finch. Not to mention the river was clear and was emerald green when the depth was at least 40 ft below. Our tour guide/ lead, Elijah was incredible! Kind, professional and a knowledgeable communicator. Very content with with him as our guide. Safe driver. Cool location and history of this area. His work ethic made this kayaking experience smooth and simple to learn. Most importantly, this experience from beginning to end was made memorable and I recommend it! I suggest the 6AM tour booked at the CVS with Carmen. She also was a great communicator, extremely knowledgeable of all the tours, and suggested some great restaurants! Carmen was energetic and so very helpful in making the perfect two day itinerary. I definitely, will be going to her for our next Vegas trip. She made our time meaningful and worthwhile. Suggested improvements: Wash life vest, my vest was wet and smelly. I really didn’t want it touching my body. Tips: -Eat light and maybe something sustaining to help you make the experience more enjoyable The cafe/ store was closed at the point of departure and at the river for 6AM tour. - Wear a sunhat for kayaking back to beginning. Sun will probably be shining hot on your face. -Wear waterproof Sunblock. Returning with the beaming sun can sunburn your face, don’t want sweat to rinse away sunblock protection. - Wear sandals or anything you don’t mind getting wet. You’ll need to walk to floating kayak in order to get in kayak. (no more than 6-10 feet off beach). - Sunglasses optional - Waterproof bag for cellphone. Or leave it on van. - Take at least one bottle of water. *Remember: Book with Carmen at CVS @ 3758 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109 They have EVERY show and experience imaginable .
