I took my toddler son to their place. It is just an open play area where there is no one to walk up to for any concern. The temperature inside the play area is so cold. There is no hand sanitizer and wipes. Stayed only for sometime and left. It was a waste of time and money. Poor maintenance. The place is okaish for babies

I've been visiting Village Tree House frequently over the past few months with my two toddlers, who are both around two years old. They absolutely love the playground! It's super convenient—everything is handled online. You pay, receive a daily access code, and you're in. The playground is always clean and well-maintained. We recently hosted our daughter's birthday party there, and it was a huge success. Everyone had a great time—parents were able to relax, and the kids were entertained the entire time. We chose the DIY package, and the owners provided everything we needed, including tables for serving food and smaller tables for the kids to sit and eat comfortably. It was such a great experience and in a fair price.

We celebrated our baby 1st birthday here and it was beyond amazing. The decoration was stunning and they took care of everything for us (decoration, food, cleaning, entertainment). Their communication is excellent and The kids had a blast.

What? Village Tree House. A play center in Hoboken. Suitable for 6 and under, it has a huge selection of equipment and toys to keep your little one busy. They also host birthday parties and regular themed events throughout the year. Where? 119 Monroe Street in Hoboken. Quite easy to get to from Manhattan. You could get the PATH train from 33rd Street or World Trade Center to the main Hoboken station, then it’s around a 15 minutes walk to Village Tree House. From Hoboken station, you could also get the light rail to 2nd Street then it’s a few minutes walk away. There’s also the ferry as an option! When? Open Play is available Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun. Their availability changes a lot however so make sure to book ahead online. Cost? $25 for 90 minutes. This is quite good value in my opinion, and there’s definitely places that charge way more than this. Our Rating? 8/10. We’ve visited here around five times now, as part of playdates. It’s always been enjoyed by everyone, and every child finds something to keep them entertained. There’s also a bathroom with a changing table, and lots of space at the front for strollers and such. Anything else? Hoboken is full of amazing views, restaurants and bars to make this into a day trip! (Review originally posted on the @playinnyc Instagram account in April 2023)
