Warner Park Community Recreation Center

Love it there every time I go. Just wish they could update the hours on here because I have arrived there more than 10 minutes before 6:pm and doors are locked but the hours on here will say (Closing Soon).

It's a bit of a drive for me to get here, but my mom and I came here for a pottery class on my birthday. The community center itself seemed to be busy and I saw some kids having fun (always a good sign) and the receptionist was nice. Our instructor was great as well, very knowledgeable, entertaining and super helpful. If it was closer to me I'd look into more classes or community involvement.

What fun!!! Ladies That Swing group was great, and there were some awesome dancers enjoying the music.

Love going to the dog park and there are in other nice walking paths and wooded areas there. Family of deer live in the park.

The place is NOT a good choice for a wedding!!! First of all you meet several times to go over how many guests, tables, table arrangements... what a joke. They rented the hall out for a daytime wedding and later told us you get the place at 5:30... that gave us 1 hour to decorate... When we arrived the head table was touching the windows with NO chairs... the guy said “Oh there isn’t enough room to put chairs”...the appetizers were supposed to be out in the hall near the game room so that I could have an hour to decorate but they put that in the reception room so everyone was walking in while we were decorating. They were supposed to put bar top tables near the appetizers but they didn’t. We paid for a coffee bar and at 9:30 was told “ we forgot “. We had to ask for garbage cans so the guests had someplace to put their plates. They said 130 guests would be fine but you could barely get by... it was like walking through a maze. At the last second we ended up putting the buffet in the hallway. It was fine but would have liked to have known ahead so it could have been planned a little better. This place is not a good choice for a reception if you expect for it to go off as planned. I watched MONTHS of planning go right out the windows!
