a week agoWhile we went a bit early in the season, the gardens were gorgeous and well kept. We were greeted by a very kind employee upon arrival where she explained the layout, where the little paths lead and sent us on our way.

a week agoBeautiful, chill spot for anyone of any age. It is currently under construction for updates, but there is still stuff to look at that is lovely. There's still trail access right now, too.

5 months agoOur wedding day was a dream at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens! I could not be happier with choosing Waterfront Botanical Gardens for my wedding this October, and the amazing staff/team that helped bring this day to life! We had a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony, followed by a reception inside the education building and a cocktail hour by the fountain. It was the ideal size and layout for our around 90-100 guests. Special shoutout to Abigail and Jen for making this planning process so smooth! They were incredible from start to finish and were extremely friendly and quick to respond. Living in Louisville, I just knew this place would be perfect to showcase our city and this beautiful garden! Not to mention all the amazing events WBG host throughout the year and things they do for our community. I am SO excited to watch this place grow and develop in the coming years!! Definitely recommend this place for a wedding and a visit!

8 months agoGorgeous. Full of native (and some very interesting) species. Water features were a hit, as was the entire winding of the path. It was one discovery after another. Also very happy to see there were people of many different ages and abilities. Someone in a chair could still enjoy the entire experience. So cool it links with the waterway park, too. We had a great time!

2 months agoMiddle of winter probably isn't the best time to visit, but we were in the area. I can only imagine the variety of plants & flowers during the spring/summer. Nice walking paths through the area.
