2 weeks agoHands down the best gym i've ever experienced. The staff, the classes, the wet and dry saunas, and 3 levels with everything you could ever ask for. In particular a legit hot wet sauna that doesn't break down all the time is huge for me. All the classes and instructors have been top notch. Good friends come in from surrounding areas outside of WS just to use this gym. Keep up the great work WSHC team!

3 weeks agoI've lived in Seattle since 2002 and this is by far the best gym I've belonged to! West Seattle Health Club offers a variety of classes, towel, pool, sauna, and steam room, kids club, and very reasonably priced training sessions (Eli is great if you're looking for a personal trainer). There is a climbing wall, a nicely appointed lounge with a fireplace, and a café to get smoothies and coffee. Check it out for free with a 5 day pass - you won't be disappointed!

3 months agoThe staff is excellent, it feels like walking into a friend’s house coming in to WSHC. The variety of classes is wonderful, though they could be staggered differently to avoid traffic and parking issues. It’s very nice to have a pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Some machines should be fixed as they have been broken for sometime, others are great.

4 months agoDefinitely the best gym I've been a member of, and the longest I've held a membership. Really nice facilities. My only complaint is that they seem to have a lot of plumbing issues with drinking fountains, the steam room, and jacuzzi. They don't have the parts on hand to fix them in a timely manner, sometimes it takes weeks. This has happened many times since I joined almost 2 years ago. Other than that, it's a great gym.

4 months agoWSHC is the best! Offers many things that other places do not have. The staff are great and super kind and helpful. The staff that clean are very hard working and they never stop! The members might not know your name but it feels like a very welcoming community. I love the pool and that they have a jacuzzi, dry sauna and a steam room. Come check it out!
