"Steep hiking, lots of gnats. Prepare to walk a lot, the entrance is not an easy one to go down and sometimes gets narrow, it connects with some of the other trails. I wish it were more clean, lots of glass shards on ground and then you’ll encounter a bunch of horse poop on the larger gravel road that connects tot he bridge where people are fishing. Water would be nice if there weren’t so many gnats everywhere. Lots of dogs, definitely mountain biking not regular biking for this entrance trail."

"Mostly easy but some parts are pretty challenging for new mountain bikers. In addition, be careful of places to park your car. Broken windows are not rare as this is still Philly area"

"Step into the embrace of Wissahickon’s White Trail, where the city’s bustle fades into the whispers of leaves and the river’s song. A mere stone’s throw from 6588 Park Line Dr, this trail is a hiker’s haiku—a brief, yet profound journey through Philadelphia’s verdant heart. Dogs trot alongside their humans, and every step is a note in nature’s symphony. Perfect for a quick recharge or a moment of reflection, the White Trail is Philly’s open secret for soulful escapes."
