Whitmore Park

This park was lots of fun. Had been wanting to go for a while and finally took my daughter and her cousins there. we all loved it. Fun wooden structure in the center of the park and tall slides. Many sand pit areas and interesting equipment. Which totally added to the play time. The basketball netting is chain link and the courts are split up in to quadrants so it’s mainly for shot practice, The goals are Separated by small raised concrete structures.

Very clean and full of shade, a nice place for everyone.

This is for kids of all ages! Lots of shade and places for the parents to sit! I have been to most the parks around here and this tops them all if your main objective is for the kids to have a blast! Not for runners ! There’s a water fountain on site as well! Even a “library “ ! Has different areas according to age group but is safe for all ages from my 2 year old to teens to play basketball! The shade is all around the park so all parents who want to let the kiddos play but it’s too hot.. you found your spot!
