a month agoWhat a joke. I’m from out of town and haven’t been to Tucson in two years. I decided to do something fun with my niece and nephews to burn off some energy, so I chose this place based on positive reviews and the fact that it looked like an XL version of Jungle Jam. Right away, the parking was a mess (no surprise in a city). The front entrance was poorly maintained, with an overflowing trash can. The line was long, which was fine since I had already completed my waiver before arriving. However, people were cutting in line, and instead of properly staffing the front desk, there was only one person who lacked the communication skills to explain that people weren’t cutting in front of others, but were just being handled as membership priority. That’s unprofessional. If you're going to offer memberships, you either need to implement a digital check-in or properly staff your front desk so that members feel prioritized, while still making sure non-members are treated with the same respect. It’s ridiculous to stand in line for 10 minutes, only to have to wait another 3-5 minutes because a member gets to skip ahead. The front desk staff acted like I should just know about the priority system, which was frustrating. When the second staff member finally appeared, I asked why certain people were allowed to skip the line and cut in front of those who had been waiting. Her response was, “I don’t know what happened, I just got up here.” Really? If managing members first is standard policy, shouldn’t they be trained to handle these situations with professionalism instead of gaslighting the customer? That girl clearly can’t be a leader, and I wouldn’t promote her. Then her coworker, who had been there the whole time, decided to chime in with, “She’s a member, stepped out, signed the waiver, and then came up here, so I’m handling her.” All I asked was why certain people were allowed to cut in line. Your staff is the sole reason why I won’t come back. The front desk staff needs serious training in professionalism and customer service—actual customer service, not the “tolerate” kind they seem to have been taught. If they’re that disgruntled with their jobs, maybe you should find someone willing to do the job and at least show some basic decency toward others. To top it off, the employees were trying to talk about promotions while on the floor, which is completely unprofessional. And the lack of a kitchen at a "venue" like this is ridiculous. For a place that’s supposed to be a family-friendly destination, not having food options available based on anticipated guests is a huge oversight. All of these issues combined made for a completely disappointing experience.

a week agoI think this is maybe the second or third review I ever written. I've been to Wildkatz 50 times I'd guess. I've hosted an overpriced party where the kids barely interacted with each other because it is a fun place. I've definitely spent thousands of dollars here, between admission, a birthday party for 20 kids, lots of concessions, countless socks, and stuffed animal retail. Today it's more apparent than ever that there has never been any customer service or hospitality here. I'd rather say I'll never be back, but my kids do love it. The young people who work here are generally apathetic, which starts at the top. No smiles anywhere to be found at Wildkatz for staff. I cant recall one time a person was warm, inviting, or smiled while on the clock here. Im not exaggerating. I gave the manager, whose photo is on the website, a chance to save my business forever. She was also apathetic. I come during tot-time, which is a huge discount admittedly, but parents with young kids need affordable options to stay busy. This creates loyalty, and repeat business. There's never been enforcement of the silent policy in the past that you must check-in by 920am for tot-time, thus I was unaware. Today I checked in at 932, and the cost tripled. I guess I get 90 minutes instead of 60, but we planned for 60 and have other plans. Now I've paid for 90 at triple the cost. I didn't want to ask too many questions or have time to, as I was wrangling two tots. But as I'm sitting there, the remorse of spending $50 instead of $15, and being told now I'm not allowed to play with them unless I spend $14 more. Yes I missed the deadline I didn't know about, yes I was confused, and I obviously won't do it again. Good hospitality, and good business says refund the difference and apologize for the confusion. Money is tighter than ever, and I clearly was upset about it. I even asked if there was a manger who could help me out, and I would continue coming forever or I wouldn't be back. She didn't care. Needless to say, this for profit business has very little heart or soul. Go to the Zoo jungle playground instead. I've always spoken highly of Wildkatz to everyone, no more free marketing from me, and I certainly won't be suggesting Wildkatz to my kids Saturday morning ever again.

3 weeks ago2 Stars - Completely unacceptable and dangerous experience I’m honestly heartbroken writing this because we’ve been loyal visitors to this kids’ gym—at least 10 times—and my 4-year-old daughter has always had fun here. The facility is usually very clean, the bathrooms are well-kept, the food is surprisingly good quality, and the owner I met during one of our visits seemed like a genuinely kind person who cares. But what happened on our last visit was traumatizing and completely unacceptable. While my daughter was playing, her foot got stuck inside one of the nets in the play area. I waited a couple of minutes to see if she could get it out on her own, but it was so stuck that I had to rush in myself—and even I struggled to get it out. There were no staff members anywhere nearby to help—not even in the parkour/swinging area, which was completely unsupervised. After I finally got her free, I went straight to the front desk to report it. The staff member there told me he couldn’t leave because he was the ONLY person working, so I got no help whatsoever. He couldn’t even come over to check the net. That’s not okay. This place was clearly understaffed, and that’s extremely dangerous in a facility full of small children. What if her foot had broken? What if she’d fallen or panicked? It could’ve been so much worse—and it’s terrifying to think there was no staff around if it had been an emergency. We’ve truly enjoyed this place in the past, and that’s what makes this so disappointing. No matter how clean or fun a place is, it means nothing if kids aren’t safe. Management needs to take this seriously: fix the net immediately, and get enough staff in place to supervise every area of the gym. Until then, I can’t recommend this place. I left that day shaken, angry, and deeply disappointed—and no parent should ever feel that way while trying to give their child a fun experience.

9 months agoI have brought my son here several times, including his birthday. I love how safe it is and that they separate areas by age. It felt that this was a great, safe, and fun place for my two year old to play. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly as well. I highly recommend this location for birthdays.
