Wild Louisiana Kayak Swamp Tours

I joined the tour by myself on my first day of visiting New Orleans. I was thinking about the swamp boat tour for the first time, but I saw someone's blog about joining this kayaking tour. So I booked like last minute. I think I made the right decision. It was a beautiful day. I had such a great time. Baby alligators were everywhere! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, and we have learned a lot of things about nature. I really recommend joining this kayaking tour!!

The most satisfying experience of my trip to LA. I was only able to fit in a midday time slot and was worried that the animals would be hunkered down out of sight. I would have been happy to see just one alligator but we saw many along with turtles, egrets, an owl tiny tree frogs that hitched rides on our kayaks and a spider that skittered across the surface of the water. The transport to and from the water was easy and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend this outing.

This was a totally unique experience that was worth the money! We did the 2 hour tour and got the shuttle service as well, which was very convenient. It was an extremely windy day, so I will say, it was a lot harder than I thought it would be! Pro tip: eat a good meal beforehand and be prepared to take a nap afterwards. Ryan was a very chill guide- he was friendly and clearly passionate about the swamp! Definitely would recommend this experience to others.

Spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking with AJ as our guide. We used Wild Louisiana Kayak’s shuttle and it was super convenient. AJ shared his immense knowledge of the area swamps regarding both the geography and the wildlife. We would highly recommend this tour!

Excellent choice for our kayak adventure!! AJ was super easy to converse with and very knowledgeable of the area. The paddle was fun without being too challenging… can definitely be completed by people with all skill levels. It was absolutely worth paying for the shuttle service!!
