10 months agoGorgeous scenic viewpoint. We love to watch the sun set here and find shells and fossils! Beautiful, quiet, and relaxing!

2 years agoI discovered this place by making a wrong turn and do not regret it at all. There is a parking lot, restrooms with a water fountain, kayak rental and launch, beach, beer garden, slides, and fun relics to climb on. We tried to fly a kite there and ended up enjoying the sunset. It is a beautiful park!

2 years agoThis was a little side trip that ended up being a fun stop for us. This area is a bird sanctuary. We only saw a few birds, but there was no shortage of snails along the path. The sign says there are scarlet tanagers there. I reeeeaally wanted to see one, but it was not meant to be. Lovely, peaceful area.

a year agoA very nice area for relaxing! Went here to see the sunset and it was still pretty despite the clouds! There’s a rocky little beach that you can’t swim in but I loved listening to the waves and they have a couple pairs of wooden chairs. There’s some paved pathways going around the grassy area and a small hill. This picture was taken behind the hill where there’s a nice grassy area to sit and hang out. Great place for couples, families, friends, and dogs.

a year agoA wonderful place to walk, bike, sit and relax, all with amazing views of the lake, boats, kayakers, etc! No charge for parking or entry or anything.
