Wolf Hill Forest Preserve

We had a lovely winter hike here! The trails were well marked and it was an easy hike - a few mild hills.

Been here a few times. Always a great hike, and several trails to choose from, so your surroundings can change each time. Lots of inclines, good moderate hike to get your blood pumping.

My partner and I have done this trail before and it was CRAZY amount of inclines. BUT! We discovered what I haven’t seen on previous reviews and natural waterfall. It is absolutely GORGEOUS. The hike itself

A beautiful and interesting place! We hiked the whole loop. There’s a high point at an abandoned house site where you can see Providence. Only issue is that the red trail isn’t well marked where it turns, so bring a map and your brain.

The trails are well marked. If this is your first time, maybe download an image of the trail map, and you can't get lost. Once upon a time, reception here was spotty, but not anymore. You'll eventually come across some high-powered electric lines that are used for motocross sporadically, and not all of them see the signs marked "no gas vehicles." Eventually, it comes hugging one of the golf courses as you reach what, I believe, is the furthest point from the main entrance. Overall, it's nice, especially to walk dogs .
