"How sweet the garden embraced serenity. This is an island of pure summer delight. This delicate ecosystem is an absolute dream oasis nestled in an expansive family park with plenty of shady habits well suited for balmy summer days. Overall the entire park is quite compact with family friendly Duck Pond, Fairy Tale Town, and a zoo ( not visited). One of Sacramento’s not so secret treasures are the interconnecting parks meandering from down town through out neighborhoods, the river and burbs. "Beautiful garden in full bloom! So amazing to see all the flowers and a few hummingbirds. The poppies were popping while I was there. Not huge, maybe the size of city lot, or little bigger. Access from the park or street... I spent about 30 minutes walking around. Several people photographing the flowers in bloom."
