2 weeks agoMy wife and I had a great time walking around the botanical gardens! Took us about two hours to casually stroll through the park. Very cool stuff to see like bonsai trees, koi fish and tons of bamboo. The garden with herbs and roses is really a spectacle to see!! Worth the trip alone!

2 weeks agoSuch a great way to spend a few hours. The price wasn't too high and thankfully parking was right by the front. Our two teen daughters enjoyed walking around with us and reading the signs. Beautiful places to take pictures around the gardens and try and spot lizards.

a week agoI spent only $8 and had a very nice afternoon. Plenty of different plants and vibes in the different sections. It’s not too big as to worry about getting lost, but there was still a lot to see. This was an oasis in the urban environment. You can hear the birds and smell the flowers which makes for a very relaxing environment.

a month agoI loved this place!! So massive and well taken care of. There is so many cool little ponds with hugeeeee koi fish. Many places to take awesome photos! It is 6$ a person which I find expensive to look at nature but it wasn’t a waste of money. I recommend showing up in shows that have good grip as the walking paths are a little slick in some places.

a month agoA beautiful piece of Austin! I arrived before noon on a Monday morning. I found parking right up front. It was spring break for the kiddos in Austin so the parking lot was pretty full by the time I left around 1 pm. I recommend arriving early or potentially planning for extra time. This place is amazing for a nice walk in nature, a photo shoot (wedding, birthday, prom, Quinceanera, sweet 16, etc), meditation, a picnic and more. I saw a few leased dogs taking walks with their humans. There are also a few historical sites like a mini history lesson. The gift shop is so cute and reasonably priced. Nice clean bathrooms too.
