3 weeks agoAmazing place tmfor you and your kids. Its a great gateaway for families and friends just 1h away from Raleigh. The experience is incredible, lots of animals and many oportunities to interact with them and feed them. The zoo has plenty of animals to see including tigers and kangaroos. The safari drive is great with lots of animal species around, zebras, ostriches, deers, bisons, deers, llamas, emus, antelopes, donkeys, camels etc. The price is great, 15$ entrance including the drive and the zoo itself. Worth it, much better than the actual North Carolina Zoo. Reccomended!

a week agoCool spot..... good prices.... can't get as close as you could prior to covid but still great to interact with the animals. Wish it was a little bigger but still a gem. Don't buy too much food cause it'll end up going to waste. Love the giraffe!!

4 weeks agoThe highlight was feeding and patting the animals—an unforgettable experience!! It took us 3 hrs to see all animals. Overall, it’s a great spot for a family outing, especially for those interested in close-up animal interactions.

3 weeks agoWe love this little country zoo. We come here all the time because it's only 30 minutes from home. There are always lots of laughs and tears from the kids through the drive-through hahahaha, everything is hands on. The zoo seems to be growing every year. I'm excited for wants to come with them. All the staff is friendly, and the animals are a joy.

4 months agoThe Christmas lights were amazing and the animals are well taken care of. Tickets are affordable at $10 and you have the option to buy feed for $2 for goats and other animals or $3 for giraffes. They are friendly animals and the enclosures are clean. The enclosure with the snakes has painted walls, you can tell they care by all the effort they put into the zoo. They even had a warm fire, affordable smores, soup, hot chocolate, pecans and so many more food options as well as a gift shop. Overall it was fantastic. Will come again!
