💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • **Opt for a 2-hour pass (or longer)**: A 1-hour pass is frequently deemed insufficient for groups or to experience a significant portion of the games, especially when factoring in potential wait times.
  • **Plan for navigation**: The venue is 'tucked away,' so allow extra time to locate it within the building.
  • **Prepare for younger participants**: If bringing children around 6 years old, be ready to assist them with games requiring significant physical activity or quick reading, as these can be challenging.
  • **Ideal for social occasions**: Consider this venue for entertaining out-of-town guests or for family gatherings, as it accommodates diverse ages and groups.
  • **Competitive families will thrive**: The format is particularly suited for competitive individuals or families who enjoy challenges.

Things to Consider

  • The venue's location can be challenging to find, being 'tucked away in the back of a building'.
  • Some games, particularly those requiring 'jumping, quick reading,' may be more difficult for younger children (e.g., 6-year-olds), requiring parental assistance or adaptation.
  • Waiting times for certain games can occur, especially for groups, suggesting longer passes are beneficial.
  • Games require exiting and re-scanning to 'level up' on the same game, which could be a minor interruption.

Price & Value

Pricing is considered reasonable and 'worth the money.' While specific prices aren't mentioned, the value is significantly enhanced by purchasing a 2-hour (or longer) pass, as a 1-hour pass is generally insufficient. Staff are accommodating with time extensions if needed.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • A good number of games are explicitly mentioned as being wheelchair friendly.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • No information regarding outside food or drinks is mentioned in the reviews.

🚗Parking Info

  • Not explicitly mentioned, but the venue is described as 'tucked away in the back of a building,' which might imply less obvious parking or requires some searching.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Some games may have wait times, even for a party of 4, suggesting that it can get busy enough for minor delays. No specific peak times are mentioned.

🛡️Safety Features

  • The facility is consistently described as 'clean,' and staff are noted as 'friendly and helpful,' which contributes to a general sense of safety and well-being. No specific safety equipment or protocols are detailed.

When to Avoid

  • Purchasing only a 1-hour pass if your group wants to fully engage with most games or anticipates any wait times, as it is often insufficient.
  • Bringing very young children with expectations of completely independent play, as some games require parental assistance for ages around 6.

So much fun!! We have never been to anything like this before and it was so great. My kids and I went (17, 13, and 6) and everyone had fun. We are a competitive group so we got the 2 hour pass but could have worked through more games and levels, we never made it to all of them. Their website is correct, it is much more fun for the older kids- things requiring jumping, quick reading, etc are harder for the younger ones. But we knew that before we paid and found ways to work our 6 year old into the games anyway. I wish we had one of these in our city. We would be here all the time!! Also, clean facility and super friendly and helpful staff. All around great experience and I highly recommend!

It was a little tucked away in the back of a building; but once we found it we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly. The pricing wasn’t horrible (I was a bit worried if I felt it would be worth the money) it was. I highly suggest getting a 2 hour pass (or longer). We had a party of 4 and some games took a few minutes to wait on. You had to exit and re scan to level up on the same game… we initially purchased a hour; and that was not enough time. The staff let us add another hour; so that was very much appreciated. Definitely fun for all ages. We will most likely return.

We had a ton of fun at Amuse! Had guests in from out of town & was all of our first time going! Adults 23-50, we had 6 which was perfect as all the games can be played with up to 6! You can also split into groups. Definitely something for everyone! There's even a good bit of games that are wheelchair friendly! Purchased a wristband to save our progress so we can go back & level up!

They have thought of everything! We had so much fun here! Our whole family went (17, 13 and 11) on our way through Memphis. We only did the 1 hour pass and could have easily spent more time! I was exhausted after the hour but the kids could have kept going. We got to do about 75% of the games 1 time each. Every game was so well thought through and the kids agreed there really wasn't any game they didn't enjoy just some they enjoyed more. Personally we loved the physical games but that is fitting for our family. The staff we very friendly and I felt it was really pretty clean! So wish we had something similar closer to home! This was a MUST do again for us!
