6 years agoIt's a small park, but it's been renovated recently with nice playground equipment. There is a big field to run in, but the street the park is on is pretty busy. Parking is limited and the bathrooms are usually locked, but it's a fun park for short visits.

4 years agoI'm not native to Bham, but I make frequent trips to UAB as an oncology patient. We stopped by this park after passing it by chance. There's no signs that I recall. We were hoping for a restroom, to stretch our legs & let our 7 year old daughter play for a minute. There's probably more to the park than just the small playground area we stopped at. There's no restroom anywhere near the playground. The playground is small but nice. It has the nice, new rubbery padding underneath which is great, especially for the younger kids. There seemed to be a lot of open field area if you or your littles like to run around. It'd be great for a game of flag football or something. Again, not restroom facilities, water fountains or anything like that near the playground area. Nice shade trees scattered about. There was nobody else there on the weekday around lunchtime, other than someone parked to eat it looked like. I think it'd be a good place to take younger kids or sit to get fresh air.

5 years agoOne of the best parks to visit in the South of Al. Quit, Clean, Reserve, lots of parking space, fewer travelers, less traffic, less seating space for guest and dogs are welcpme; I am sure! I was able to finish my report quickly in a confortable spot! I love!
