Big Muddy Adventures at the Boathouse

"We rented a paddle boat and it was bery affordable. It's a great little loop which took us about an hour to complete. We saw an egret which was great because we didn't see any on our St. Louis trip! Boat was easy to steer, could go forward or backwards, and we didn't have to wear life jackets."

"Very nice. Just don't go on a hot day. You'll suffer trying to paddle back before your hr is over with 🤣. We got a paddle boat. It's $26 a hr, then 15$ for additional hours. Afterwards, we ate the delicious smoked salmon sandwich with a side of potato salad. 😋. The staff was nice and welcoming at the boat rental window and getting us into our boats."

"I love the expansion of boats that the new owners have done! I have been waiting to be able to kayak in The Grand Basin for too long. They now have kayaking, canoes, and SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board). They have some great ideas and events and I’m so excited to see more people getting out on the water in Forest Park. Just another great place to go in Saint Louis now!
