a month agoI really loved this free Botanical Garden in Birmingham! So peaceful! Very well cared for and many different plants to find. Lovely rose garden! The souvenir shop in the entrance is also outstanding!! So many items I would have bought immediately! Love it!!

a month agoVery nice, large, and diverse is the Birmingham Botanical Garden. Many different gardens, buildings, ponds, walking paths, eatery, and a gift shop. Look for the various sculptures and memorial benches and swings throughout. The Japanese Garden seems to be a crowd favorite. Zoo is across the way and parking fills up quickly but has staff to guide you in.

3 months agoWe were blown away at how nice these gardens were and couldn't believe it was free. We were there in early January so not a whole lot in bloom, but we still enjoyed our walk. Wear comfy shoes and clothing as it's definitely a lot of walking. We want to go back in Spring or Summer!

a month agoAmazing place to take pictures and walk through. The main pathways are paved and though it has some small hills very easy to navigate. Free to the public
