9 months agoNever knew this existed and i’ve lived up north most of my life. Was a nice experience seeing the bison, so cute. Nice to explore and learn the history of the place.

2 years agoWho doesn't like seeing real life bison?? The bison here have been around a very long time. However, don't always expect to see them as the land is vast enough to allow them some privacy. I also want to mention, please do not agitate them. Yes, there is a very tall and sturdy fence separating you from the bison, but bison can be very strong. Do not attempt to pet them when they are at the fence. Enjoy them for what they are: America's symbol of the Midwest.

3 years agoIt's fun to see the Bison at this park. These are American Bison, and not actually buffalos. But that aside, it's a beautiful enclosure and it appears they have room to walk around. They appear well taken care of with plenty to eat and drink. The grasses and plants growing inside the fencing are pretty, especially in late summer. My dog could smell them but had trouble seeing them due to the height of the grass. It was pretty cute!
