"What a lovely experience! This area is very large and spacious, perfect to not have to be right up against people if you don’t want to. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. And the stingrays are cool! I enjoyed learning about the different kinds and the small features each of them have that I never knew before. Make sure to check this out when visiting the zoo! Especially if you have kids. I think they would love it."

"This is one of the most interesting places in the entire KC zoo. While I'm normally not too big a fan of fish and sharks and such, all of the little (and big) guys were very nice. If you wash your hands well, you're able to walk right up to the water and stick your hand in. You can either touch the back of the rays or stick your hand lower and they might come over and "lick" your hand! Very cool area, will visit again!"
