8 months agoCamp Deer Creek is good. Our 6 year old has absolutely loved every day and she’s been there for almost 5 weeks. Tons of activities, plenty of playing with friends and solid lunches for the kids. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that they should update the outdated Native American influenced group names. We emailed them about this and an issue of our kids repeating swear words they heard from counselors but they never bothered to respond. We go to a different camp now.

2 years agoI am writing this review from my family's experience. My 12 years old son joined a few friends for a week summer camp this summer. We did not find out where and when the pick up was until the day before the camp started. As inconvenient as it can get. My son did not resist more than two days in this camp. They had no activities for older kids, barely any interaction with staff members, they did not even advise where the restrooms were. My son described his two days as "doing nothing, just sitting under a tree". Not even getting in the pool during hot hours. No zip line, no climbing wall, nothing of the fun activities we've seen in their video. No engagement from the staff. The older kids were basically left to do...whatever. He was so miserable after two days, that we allowed him to stay home for the remaining days of the week. The price they charged was clearly not reflected in any way in what they had to offer. The only reason they get two stars is because the transportation was convenient.

6 years agoMy nieces and nephew go to this camp, and absolutely love it. The property is beyond beautiful. The kids love exploring in the creek, and catching minnows. They became stronger swimmers, and increased their bravery by climbing the rock wall. They made many new friends and also looked forward to each Friday as they do extra fun activities on that day. They also like the kid friendly food menu and have learned to enjoy the fresh fruits and vegetables that they provide with the meals. This is one place that allows kids to be kids, and that might just be the best part.

3 years agoThis is an awesome camp - second year I sent my kids here. Lots of outdoor activities, food is simple but good and healthy, they have lots of activities without screen. I feel the camp is safe both physically and mentally for my kids. Cant say enough about this camp - marvelous!

2 years agoI've been going here for years and if you go there with a friend it can genuinely be so fun, even without screens or any technology. The food is pretty good and after lunch you get dessert. Everyday you get to go swimming twice and if you ever hot before or after swimming there's a nice cold creek to cool you down. 10/10 best camp tbh I love it
