7 months agoAt the end of the 2024 summer we put our little girl in Camp-Dart-lo for two weeks. We were worried about her being away all day since she was only three years old. Also, we came out from Cheney so there was a lot of transportation. However, my little girl had so much fun. They had crafts, swimming and games. The older campers were very supportive of the younger campers, so she always felt at home. Be sure to register early! All the camps in the Spokane area fill up fast. We were unable to register on time for our older girl (6 years old). Next year for sure!

7 months agoOur son always has the best time at Camp Dart-Lo and their off-season classes. They are well-organized, staff is friendly, and they are inclusive of all children! They're teaching leadership skills while the kids have fun so they don't even realize it. Highly recommend campfire camps for all kiddos!

7 months agoMy son started at camp Dart-lo just after his third birthday and he's attended several sessions/summer for the past three years. I love the inclusive, supportive staff and the focus on nature and being outside. My son has always felt completely safe and comfortable there. It's a long haul from the South Hill but totally worth it.

7 months agoMy six year old boy loved going to camp during the 2024 summer. He went to the 5 day over night camp. It was his first time attending camp. The first two things he told me when he got off the boat, “can I go for two weeks next summer” and “I didn’t shower all week.” It made my foster momma heart happy that he truly loved and enjoyed his first camp experience and I can’t wait for him to return next summer to continue making memories.

7 months agoThe camps provided by Camp Fire Inland Northwest are unbeatable. We keep going back year after year and will continue for many more. My 3 kids have loved each Camp Fire experience - Camp Dart-Lo, the Junior & Senior PALS programs/teen leadership, Winter Break Camp, and overnight at Camp Sweyolakan in CDA. They made friends, built crafts, played games, sang songs, swam, learned new skills, and most importantly spent priceless time outdoors in nature getting dirty exploring the world around them. We used the bus service to/from Dart-Lo for the first time this year. This, too, is amazingly priced with stops in various parts of Spokane. Nothing surpasses the value for the price!
