2 years agoBeautiful place WELL kept. Fantastic design had everything in walking distances not far from central flag. Nice Job on the Owl's nest Upgrades! And there was so much I didn't get to see this trip. But LOVED the way the shelter at flint is sort of hidden down a ”secret" little concrete stair path(not difficult to see/find) behind the permatents, beautifully designed to enjoy nature along the way. so MANY different types of foilage and critters for the girls to explore/observe. This was just amazing. We are ever so grateful you allow us to enjoy your land. Our girls are looking forward to their fall camping 🏕️ trip. Thankyou for a Wonderful time!

6 years agoThese facilities have been amazing for the girl scouts day camp. The trail centers and Neil's Lodge have Electricity, Air conditioning, plumbing, full kitchens and televisions, and in 2019 they are installing a new aquatics center. In addition there is an archery range, gaga ball pit, climbing wall, zip line, low ropes course, several out buildings, multiple campfire rings and many other amenities. What sadden's me a little, is the camp has been used for a while only as a day camp, and the campsites are not currently being used. The camp sites that are have a cook shelter and Adirondack cabins, however the latrines and showers are not working. Back in it's heyday, this camp had 6 camp sites and I look forward to they day they are put back in use to enhance the already amazing central facilities at Prairie Schooner.

5 years agoThis is such a great facility for the Girl Scouts! As a volunteer I am so appreciative to have a place we can meet with our girls every year for Cookie Construction kick-off!
