10 months agoHad a fantastic time! 10/10 experience. We camped there on Saturday and reserved a canoe for Sunday. We were the only ones camping that night and got a great spot by the river. They even delivered free firewood to our site! Check in for the canoes/kayaks is a little hectic (we were warned by staff so we prepared), but the staff does a wonderful job keeping things organized and flowing. The kids loved the bus ride. The river had quite a few people on it, but everyone was so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

2 years agoWe had a great experience! There were little rapids which we enjoyed. We did have an issue with one of the tandems taking on water. The plug was missing in the front. Thankfully, 2 good guys helped us lift it up to drain it. We called and they had a replacement waiting at the 5 mile drop off. The water was surprisingly clear. Would definitely go again.

3 years agoFirst of all, the customer service/staff are AMAZING! They really helped make the experience wonderful! This was our first time out kayaking. We chose the 5 mile trek. I believe that was a good choice for going out for the first time. Took us right at 2 hrs. The river was kinda low so there was some fun/tricky spots. Lots of little white water areas to try to maneuver through, (5 or 6) and lots of rocks to dodge! Was super fun! Already booking our next reservation! Thanks a lot Canoe Country! See you soon!

a year agoHad a fun day using their kayaks and gear. Nice ride down the river. Prices were really great too, but you're basically transported to the start point, dropped off, you pick your kayak, drag it down to the water and then you're on your own til you reach the end point. If it is your first time kayaking, ask questions and tell them that it is. Don't assume they'll explain all you need to know.
