  • Staff (front desk, coaches, owner) consistently described as helpful, professional, and pleasant (Review 1).
  • Exceptional coaching ability, specifically 'amazing' Coach Kinney mentioned (Review 1).
  • Proven track record of improving children's skills significantly, even preparing them for state and regional competitions (Review 2).

Insider tips

  • If you have high expectations, ask many questions, or need reassurance, the staff is noted for meeting these needs pleasantly and professionally (Review 1).
  • This gym is strongly recommended for parents looking to significantly advance their child's gymnastics skills, potentially to competitive levels like states and regionals (Review 2).
  • Be aware that open gym sessions have restrictions, which are implemented for children's safety (Review 1).
  • The quality of training is considered worth a significant commute (e.g., 50 minutes one way, 3 times a week) by satisfied parents (Review 4).

Good to know before you go

  • If your child is at an intermediate level and relies heavily on consistent, individual coaching attention to improve, as there's a reported tendency for some coaches to prioritize more advanced or familiar students, potentially leading to a feeling of neglect (Review 3).
  • At intermediate levels, some coaches may show preferential attention to already-advanced gymnasts or those they know better, potentially neglecting gymnasts who genuinely need more help to improve (Review 3).
  • Reviewer felt money for lessons was 'wasted' due to perceived lack of attention for less advanced students (Review 3).
Crowds
Open gym sessions have stated 'restrictions' for the safety of the children (Review 1), implying careful management of participation or activities to ensure a safe environment, but specific crowd levels at other times are not detailed.
Value
No specific pricing is mentioned, but the overall sentiment suggests high value for the quality of coaching and skill improvement, with one parent driving 50 minutes each way multiple times a week finding it 'definitely worth it' (Review 4). However, the value for money can feel diminished if a child at an intermediate level does not receive adequate coaching attention for their specific needs (Review 3).
Accessibility
The gym is noted for being inclusive and diverse, suggesting a welcoming environment (Review 1). No specific physical or programmatic accommodations for disabilities are detailed in the reviews.
Safety
Safety is explicitly stated as a primary concern and top priority by the staff and management (Review 5).

"So far, I love this place! Everyone has been helpful and professional. This means a lot since I feel that I can be overwhelming for some. I ask a lot of questions, I need reassurance, I have detailed requests, and high expectations. They have rose to the occasion and met me, pleasantly, at each juncture. THANK YOU! I have had pleasant interactions with front desk staff, parents, children, coaches, and the owner. Although, I haven't participated in rec classes, I have taken my daughter to open gym and she's done some private lessons as well. Open gym is a bit restrictive, which I fully unde"

"This is a good gym! My niece does Gymnastics there and I see them at the meets. I've also seen how much they improved my friend's daughter after her home gym neglected to prepare her states and regionals. I definitely recommend for anyone looking to take their kid's skills to the next level."

"Used to do intermediate tumbling+ intermediate gymnastics here. It was a very nice place except a lot of the time I noticed some coaches would focus on the ones who were already good than the ones who needed some help. Sometimes the money that went here to pay for lessons were wasted cause the gymnasts who needed help were not payed attention to at all. One lesson one of the coaches only payed attention to one girl cause she knew her better and she was more advanced and didn’t talk to anyone else. Overall it was nice but soon it started to suck once they stopped caring about improving the ones"
