  • Proven track record of improving children's skills significantly, even preparing them for state and regional competitions (Review 2).
  • Coaches are patient with children and actively celebrate their successes (Review 4).
  • Gym management (Matt) is passionate about members' success and prioritizes safety (Review 5).
  • Fosters a friendly, inclusive, and diverse culture, corroborated by children's experiences (Review 1).
  • Offers open gym sessions, which are appreciated, even with safety-driven restrictions (Review 1).

Standout Features

  • Highly professional and responsive staff who meet high parent expectations and detailed requests (Review 1).
  • Individual coaches, such as Coach Kinney, are highly praised for their quality (Review 1).
  • A culture where coaches are patient and celebrate every success, fostering significant child growth (Review 4).
  • Strong emphasis on safety, described as a primary concern for management (Review 5).
  • Inclusive and diverse environment (Review 1).

Perfect For

Perfect for 'tumbling toddlers' looking for foundational athletic growth and balance (Review 5).
Caters to school-aged children and teens, including intermediate gymnasts and those training for competitive levels (states/regionals) (Reviews 1, 2, 3, 4).

Ideal For

Children aspiring to take their gymnastics skills to a competitive level (states/regionals) (Review 2).
Parents seeking a highly professional, responsive, and supportive environment for their children (Review 1).
Families valuing an inclusive and diverse community in a gymnastics setting (Review 1).
Parents of toddlers who want to foster athletic development and balance in a safe environment (Review 5).

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • If you have high expectations, ask many questions, or need reassurance, the staff is noted for meeting these needs pleasantly and professionally (Review 1).
  • This gym is strongly recommended for parents looking to significantly advance their child's gymnastics skills, potentially to competitive levels like states and regionals (Review 2).
  • Be aware that open gym sessions have restrictions, which are implemented for children's safety (Review 1).
  • The quality of training is considered worth a significant commute (e.g., 50 minutes one way, 3 times a week) by satisfied parents (Review 4).

Things to Consider

  • At intermediate levels, some coaches may show preferential attention to already-advanced gymnasts or those they know better, potentially neglecting gymnasts who genuinely need more help to improve (Review 3).
  • Reviewer felt money for lessons was 'wasted' due to perceived lack of attention for less advanced students (Review 3).

Price & Value

No specific pricing is mentioned, but the overall sentiment suggests high value for the quality of coaching and skill improvement, with one parent driving 50 minutes each way multiple times a week finding it 'definitely worth it' (Review 4). However, the value for money can feel diminished if a child at an intermediate level does not receive adequate coaching attention for their specific needs (Review 3).

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • The gym is noted for being inclusive and diverse, suggesting a welcoming environment (Review 1). No specific physical or programmatic accommodations for disabilities are detailed in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Open gym sessions have stated 'restrictions' for the safety of the children (Review 1), implying careful management of participation or activities to ensure a safe environment, but specific crowd levels at other times are not detailed.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Safety is explicitly stated as a primary concern and top priority by the staff and management (Review 5).
  • Open gym sessions include 'restrictive' rules, which are understood and appreciated by parents as measures taken for the safety of the children (Review 1).

When to Avoid

  • If your child is at an intermediate level and relies heavily on consistent, individual coaching attention to improve, as there's a reported tendency for some coaches to prioritize more advanced or familiar students, potentially leading to a feeling of neglect (Review 3).

So far, I love this place! Everyone has been helpful and professional. This means a lot since I feel that I can be overwhelming for some. I ask a lot of questions, I need reassurance, I have detailed requests, and high expectations. They have rose to the occasion and met me, pleasantly, at each juncture. THANK YOU! I have had pleasant interactions with front desk staff, parents, children, coaches, and the owner. Although, I haven't participated in rec classes, I have taken my daughter to open gym and she's done some private lessons as well. Open gym is a bit restrictive, which I fully understand. It's for the safety of the children! Plenty of gyms don't have open gym at all. It's nice they even offer one. Coach Kinney is amazing! Definitely one of the best coaches I've come across since being a gym mom. From my observations, they have a friendly culture; an opinion corroborated by my daughter. For those that care, it's inclusive and one of the most diverse gyms I've been to. Can't wait to make this our gym home! Hoping it's all I've experienced so far, and more.

This is a good gym! My niece does Gymnastics there and I see them at the meets. I've also seen how much they improved my friend's daughter after her home gym neglected to prepare her states and regionals. I definitely recommend for anyone looking to take their kid's skills to the next level.

Used to do intermediate tumbling+ intermediate gymnastics here. It was a very nice place except a lot of the time I noticed some coaches would focus on the ones who were already good than the ones who needed some help. Sometimes the money that went here to pay for lessons were wasted cause the gymnasts who needed help were not payed attention to at all. One lesson one of the coaches only payed attention to one girl cause she knew her better and she was more advanced and didn’t talk to anyone else. Overall it was nice but soon it started to suck once they stopped caring about improving the ones who needed genuine help.

My daughter loves it here! The coaches are so patient with her and celebrate all of her successes. She’s grown so much in the last couple of years and loves coming to the gym. We drive all the way from Amanda (50 mins one way) 3 times a week for her to train here and it’s definitely worth it!

Working with Matt at CCG has been an absolute joy. He is so passionate about the success of the gym's members and keeps their safety first. Not to mention the amazing staff he has hand selected. Cannot recommend this place enough for parents wanting to help their tumbling toddlers grow into well-balanced athletes!
