"The crew is super nice and helpful. Easy in and out for a relaxing hour or two on the river. I would recommend going on a weekday, as I'm sure this area gets pretty busy on summer weekends. There are stretches with lots of houses and docked boats, but really nice that you can pull up the kayak and enjoy a quiet beach on Lake Erie. Not as remote as Burton or Hiram, but we saw lots of herons, ducks, and deer."

"Convenient place to launch your kayak. Nice area to paddle around. The water is flat and smooth. Many yacht clubs on the river. Small parking area. However, on a fall day when we were there, we were the only people using the facility. $2 fee to launch a kayak. My only complaint is that there is no restroom on site."
